Beer commercials don't usually make me think of you, but when my son sent me the following Bud Light ad, it brought fond thoughts of you. Thank you, Real Man of Genius, for all you do!

Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate? HELL, NO!!!

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Our single goal from now on should not be some “Plan B” Hillary lite candidate, but to force a broken convention.
The RNC needs to know the conservative base is not going to support a awful candidate just because the dems are pushing gawd awful.

Break the convention, and let them draft a conservative.

Rudy does not match up well with our crowd on social issues, but he is an advocate on our views on foreign policy, government reform and taxes. He has to sell the social conservatives on a compromise to meet in the middle to win those votes. So far he has failed to do that. Personally, I would vote for him for the positives he brings in the other areas. He excels on the non-social issues.

Personally, I thought he would come into the primaries with a more conciliatory approach to the conservative wing of the party. It has been clear for a few years (pre-2004) he was running, and he had time to craft a better message. While I personally appreciate that he did not change his views 180 to appease primary voters, it has certainly not been effective. I think Romney may have outflanked him to be the moderate alternative in this primary. We’ll see how things fall out in FL.

Happy Anniversary bump.
Has it been two years already?
Time flies when you're having fun,
and this place has been a lot more fun
without the riffraff.

Ha Ha Ha Haaaa....

The "Rudy for President" idea lives on!

President Giuliani, 2016? [Vanity]

In the wake of recent police shootings of Brown and Garner, murder of police officers, and the overall distrust and tension fomented by DeBlasio, Sharpton, Holder, Obama, etc., primarily in New York, Giuliani has placed himself in the spotlight by speaking out against these troublemakers.

His soothing yet firm demeanor is reminiscent of Ronald Reagan and could be just what America needs following a chaotic eight years of the amateur in the White House.

Why did this thread pop up all of a sudden?

In any event, Rudy was a GREAT mayor. That doesn’t mean you’d want him in higher office.
