They’re not close...they are way over the line.

Yea, but if this is the best we can do, then we need to give up now.

“Dammit, Tom. You all had your chance to show some spine and smack down the treasonous Dems and their media accomplices WHEN YOU HAD CONTROL OF CONGRESS. You refused to put up the fight against these traitors that you should have, they were able to frame the WoT in a negative light, and because of that you LOST CONTROL OF CONGRESS and now you can’t do much, at all, acout the treason that the Dems are committing. Buncha spineless milquetoasts let the Dems walk all over them and tried to appease the domestic enemy media. Now you want to use the ‘T’ word when you’re nearly powerless to do anything about it.”

Very well, said. Real good and it needs to be repeated to all of the GOP big dawgs from coast to coast.

Hey Tom.....

“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or GIVEN AID OR COMFORT TO THE ENEMY thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.” — United States Constitution, 14th Amendment, Section 3

I think they already crossed that line MONTHS ago.

Mr. Delay, how would you define an administration that refuses to close the country’s borders during a time of war and that are now open to facilitate the entry of enemies of America?

Respectfully, these people have committed treason.

Sadly, nothing will be done to them.

Well, nothing happened to DeLay because of his similar "treasonous" comments on the Kosovo war did it? Here is what this "traitor" (according to the standards of some on this thread) said in 1999:

"You can support the troops but not the president"

I cannot support a failed foreign policy. History teaches us that it is often easier to make war than peace. This administration is just learning that lesson right now. The President began this mission with very vague objectives and lots of unanswered questions. A month later, these questions are still unanswered. There are no clarified rules of engagement. There is no timetable. There is no legitimate definition of victory. There is no contingency plan for mission creep. There is no clear funding program. There is no agenda to bolster our overextended military. There is no explanation defining what vital national interests are at stake. There was no strategic plan for war when the President started this thing, and there still is no plan today"

Bombing a sovereign nation for ill-defined reasons with vague objectives undermines the American stature in the world. The international respect and trust for America has diminished every time we casually let the bombs fly."

I’m reminded of Denethor in Lord of the Rings (ROTK) standing on the top level of Minas Tirith shouting for the guards of city to “flee for [their] lives!”. What happened next is what Bush should be doing to the traitor rats... Gandalf whacks him over the head and tells the guards simply, “Prepare for battle.”.

If you think that what Delay said then is treasonous, you are an idiot of the highest sort.

Go back to the Dummies, where you belong.

Kosovo wasn’t a war, it was an attempt by a perjurious buffoon to prove he had “nads”.

A 5 mile high war, what a joke.

They are clearly giving aid and comfort to the enemy. I just wish we still had the backbone to do something about it.
