I wish Wal-Mart would really fire back! They should be out there doing some real PR about how great their business is! I heard a trucker once on Rush sometime back talk about how, as he drove all over America, he had seen how Wal-Mart had destroyed small towns!! He said he only shopped there when he needed to. I am sorry, but this is just plain moronic!! This man was a trucker!! As he is driving through small town America,, did he ever notice any broken down train stations sitting on dead tracks??? Did he ever have any guilt driving his truck, knowing that the trucking industry helped to destroy the train industry??? What is Wal-Mart doing that any other business has ever done?? Is not K-Mart doing the same thing??? Staples?? Lowes? Home Depot??? Have not grocery stores replaced general stores??? Do people really think about the things they say???? I am tired of hearing about poor mom and pop stores and their losses,, or the loss of downtowns! I realize this may not be popular or sound cruel,, but,, who did the “mom and pop” stores put out of business?? Did they not replace traveling salesmen??? Or the catologue business?? Should we not mourn their loss?? What are the “mom and pop” stores demanding??? Are they not demanding I spend more money on my hammers, sneakers and laundry detergent so that I support them and their family??!! What about my family?? How far do we go with this line of thinking???

I guess Hitlery would rather Wal-Mart disappear, taking all those jobs with them.

What’s funny about those $4 prescriptions - there was a WallyWorld spokesman on the radio right after the program was announced - and when the host described it as a loss-leader, the spokesman laughed and said - nope - They are still making a good profit at that price.

Your comment that the Rockwell vision of American “never was” is just not true. We all, those of us of a certain age, remember little local stores that we loved. We had a neighborhood grocery where they wrote down in a notebook what we spent and we paid them once a month. There was a local drugstore with a soda fountaiin where we knew everyone and spent every day getting a soda in summer. We had a local hardware store run by a man we knew all our lives, a local filling station run by a friend of the family. Everything in a small town or small city was run by locals and it was good.

I am not quarreling with WalMart,,they serve a good purpose. But the olden days were better in a way. Nodoors locked, no crazy thugs, people were decent and honest.

Well, Hellery, we can’t all get millions from Simon and Schuster for telling a pack of lies and selling books to the brain-dead public. That means we can’t shop at Tiffany’s, as you can. And we don’t hobnob with your Wall St. friends at Goldman Sachs, who are buying their way into power, should you gain the presidency.

Hillary is for the working men and women of this country. She know that they would be better off shopping at Balducci’s in Manhattan than in Walmart.

In the 90’s when hillary was pushing her health care “plan” she absolutely refused to debate it with anyone that understood anything about it. Rush was on her ass pretty big-time at that time.

But she said the company has also "raised serious questions" about how corporations should be leaders in providing health care and not discriminating based on sex or race.

Well, set aside the fact that corporations (i.e., businesses) aren't welfare institutions or the government, why should they take the lead in doing anything except what they're designed to do: make something they can sell to someone at a profit. Period.

Yes, but we invited the masses and now we celebrate diversity. Mom and Pop stores can’t keep up with the amount of people moving in. It’s all about supply and demand. The only people I know spewing unkind words about Walmart are the wealthy... who don’t shop there in the first place.

If elected, she will stab the voters in the back and not care in the least.

When will people relize that she is unable to ever tell the truth about anything.

She has no redeeming qualities she is mean, bitter, spiteful and a complete discrace.

Wal-Mart is doing more for health care than Hilda. $4 prescriptions and clinics in many of their stores.

I've never even thought about that - what you just wrote is golden in the fight against nationalizing health care and supporting capitalism in general

I pay $3 per on each of mine at Wal Mart for generic. I pay $9 for the "real or name" drug.

You are SOOOOO right. I lived in a college town and it had several mom and pop grocery stores, a shoe store, two or three men’s shops, a great soda fountain where we all hung out, two drugstores, barber shops, department store. Now there’s nothing but eateries and things that attract students. Grrrr. Not my town anymore and WalMart doesn’t even live here.
