Why would anyone kill (Ron) Brown?

Why would anyone kill Brown?

By Rev. Barbara Reynolds, NNPA Columnist

April 9, 2007

April ought to be the month that we not only reflect upon the Crucifixion of Jesus but also the untimely deaths of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and former Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, the man often suggested would become the nation's first black president.

What's the connection? So glad you asked.

If the reporter/witnesses, such as Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, had stopped talking and writing about the Assassination of Jesus and his subsequent Resurrection, what Scriptures would Christians have to base their faith upon? The Jesus followers could no more have depended upon the Roman soldiers to report truthfully on the Crucifixion than we can depend upon the FBI and the legacy of J. Edgar Hoover to set the record straight on the assassinations of King and Brown.

Brown was killed on April 3, 1996, on the eve of the 28th anniversary of the April 4, 1968 assassination of Dr. King.

Brown was the first African-American to chair the Democratic National Committee. President Clinton, himself, credited Brown, the consummate Washington insider powerbroker, as one of the main reasons why he won the White House in 1994.

It has been more than a decade since the plane Brown and 34 other passengers were riding in crashed on a mountaintop in Croatia. To this day, the following mysteries still remain:

Forensic experts for the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, (AFIP) who examined Brown at a mortuary in Dover, Delaware, reported that Brown had a circular hole in his head that was the size and shape of a gunshot wound. A search of the crash site showed no pieces of debris that could make such a perfectly drill-punched hole.

X-rays taken of Brown's head showed fragments resembling the pattern of a disintegrating bullet. The Institute later conceded that those x-rays turned up missing.

Shortly before U.S. investigators could reach Niko Jerkuic, who was in charge of the Croatian airport's navigation system, he was found dead from a gunshot wound in the chest-an alleged suicide.

Although initial reports, such as Time Magazine, reported that one of the worst storms in a decade thwarted Brown's plane from landing, later reports showed only drizzling rain.

Granted there could be many explanations to why Brown was the only one to have a suspicious gunshot wound since the plane was flying near areas involved in a civil war. Another possibility is that someone could have executed Brown and parachuted off the plane.

Whatever the reasons, the U.S. government's failures created suspicions of a political assassination. Several pathologists called for an autopsy. It still has not been done and the pathologists who tried to alert the public that something was wrong had their careers ruined, according to Jack Cashill, who wrote an excellent book, entitled "Ron Brown's Body."

In my book, "No I Won't Shut up," I tell of a conversation I had with one of those experts, Lt. Col. Steve Cogswell, shortly before he was officially muzzled. Dr. Cogswell was the AFIP deputy medical examiner who asked his supervisors to perform the autopsy. "This whole think stinks," he told them.

Shortly after his forthrightness, Cogswell told me, "I have been re-assigned. I have been demoted because of my reporting on Brown. Sometimes I feel my life is endangered, but people only get 'disappeared' if they are going to tell something, I have already talked and I have no new revelations, so the cat is already out of the bag. Without an autopsy it is just as irresponsible to say the wound was caused by a bullet as to say it was not."

Why would anyone kill Brown? And if someone wanted to kill him, why take 34 innocent people with him. Cashill pointed out that Brown, was the man, who knew too much, was heavily involved in alleged illegal fundraising activities for the Clintons and had mouthed off about not going down alone. Moreover, in the light of the then recent suspicions around the so-called suicide of Vince Foster, another suicide might have raised too many suspicions.

Why do I care? I care not only because, murder is immoral and illegal, but if African-Americans, do not care do you expect the Romans to care?

I care because two weeks before his death, Brown sent word to me to attend one of his high-powered Cabinet meetings. Oddly enough, I had been in Washington journalism circles for more than 20 years and had never heard from Brown. We were not friends. He was not a source. But that day when he announced a new program to aid Africa, he called me to watch.

At a time when I hear no main-stream political leaders calling attention to the mysterious death of Ron Brown, I am watching, just like I believe, Brown, himself, knew I would.

I half expect them to pull a “Perot” to get her in, for sure. She can’t win on her own merit.

Of course the used toilet paper from the lowest outhouse in hell [otherwise known as the Klintoons) murdered Brown. IIRC, Brown foolishly commented to his secretary a few days before his death that he was not going down alone or some such. Talk about signing one’s own death warrant around the KLINTOONS. I suppose one could call it death by stupidity.

One has to get multiple audio and video recordings secretly made and stashed in multiple copies all over the planet, first.

Why didn’t Republicans in the Congress open an investigation?

Because then the Democrats would threaten to expose the skeletons in the Republicans' closet. This is how the game is played, of course. Our country is ruled by the thugs in both major political parties.

Umm, Mr. Clinton* won election in 1992

Well, yes, but only because I and others voted for Ross Perot and gave Ol' Slick "The Gift." Slick was elected by what? Less than 1/2 of the 1/2 who voted? A 23% president...That's why you could ask folks and find that 3 of 4 did NOT vote for him.....

I've followed this story off and on for a long time.

A lot of the names on the list are humongous leaps of faith...(the Oklahoma bombing? come on....) However, there are a few that I think raise questions. The fact that there are a large number of witnesses/investigators on the list makes me wonder.

Further, just common sense dictates that there's something a little fishy. I personally know (friendly with, worked closely with, been associated with) no one that's committed suicide or been murdered. I know *of* a couple people that were murdered or committed suicide - second or third hand (friend of a friend of a coworker, might have said "hello" to a company function, etc) but the distance is so far that I only recognized the name. Keep in mind that this is over the course of my entire life.

What all of these lists don't detail is the closeness of the contact. For instance, there are four people killed at Waco that are listed as "Clinton Bodyguards". What the list does not detail (and, what no one seems to want to look at) is how close were these bodyguards? Were they a part of a small team that worked directly with the Clintons for a long period of time, or were they on a detachment of hundreds that worked airport security one time each at independent locations? There's a huge difference...the latter points to a coincidence and the former points to something more sinister, IMHO. Unfortunately, the conspiracy theorists conveniently leave all of the details out.

Links I don’t have, but the articles were posted here on FreeRepublic in the late ‘90s to my recollection. As I recall, someone found the stew, who was seated at the back of the plane, wandering in the wreckage. Soon after she was found with a broken neck......

If I remember correctly; the stewardess, was taken to a hospital, where she died(was found dead) of a broken neck.

The Black Lady Reverend is a socialist America hater. Why won't she connect the HUGE dots?

Could it be that those who could have been involved with Brown's murder are the very people she votes for and worships? Hmmm?

Here is what she wrote in another recent article:

The violent outbursts of Cho Seung Hui, the student madman who killed more than 30 of his classmates and wounded more than 30 others at Virginia Tech, may well be the result of the boomerang effect, which returns to the source whatever is sent outwards. In other words I think Frankenstein-like psychopaths like Hui emerge from the values and symbols that shape America.

When you look at the more than 3,000 U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq, the killing spree in Virginia, preceded by the hate speech of Don Imus aimed at killing the spirit of young black female students at Rutgers University, it is time to hold a mirror up to ourselves.

This "reverend" is a disgrace and nothing she says is worth spit.

There is NOTHING I would put past the Clintons and their lust for power.
