Yes. But, what the hell is with Vermont? This is the place that brought us Bernie Sanders. It’s been decades since they failed to go Democrat in a presidential election. How can they top the list of most Constitutional states on this issue?
The answer lies in Vermont’s history.
Vermonters, whose name literally means “Green Mountain Men,” put up armed resistance to efforts by then-colony New York’s attempt to include the land and people of “Vermont” in its territory during the process of becoming a state.
Since the availability and use of firearms literally created Vermont, the necessity of firearms to the security of the state of Vermont has always been recognized and on paper.
New York is still trying to take over other states by appointing “Special Masters” over residents of other states.
What does that make the residents of those other states? . . . “Special Slaves?”
I hate New York.
