AMBER ALERT 05/14/07 0720 AM, AVOCA BORO PD, CHILD WHT FEMALE AGE 14, 5’5”, 110 LBS, BLK HAIR, GRN EYES, ZIP UP BLK HOODY W/ WHITE LETTERING, BLK SNEAKERS LAST SEEN IN AREA OF PACKER & MCALPINE ST, LUZERNE COUNTY.
The Pennsylvania State Police is issuing an Amber Child Abduction Alert for the Avoca Borough Police Department, Luzerne County.
The Avoca Borough Police Department is searching for Rose Doran, light complected white female, age 14, 5’5” in height, weighing 110 pounds, wearing a black zip up hoody sweatshirt with white lettering, blue jeans and black sneakers. She was last seen this morning at 7:20 leaving her residence en-route to the bus stop at Packer & McAlpine Streets in Avoca Borough, Luzerne County.
Anyone with information about this incident should immediately contact the police by calling 911.
This has been an Amber Child Abduction Alert for the Avoca Borough Police Department, Luzerne County.
Affected Counties: Luzerne, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Monroe, Carbon, Schuylkill, Columbia, Sullivan.

THE AMBER ALERT ISSUED ON 05/14/07 FOR ROSE DORAN ON BEHALF OF THE AVOCA BOROUGH POLICE DEPT, LUZERNE COUNTY HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE CHILD HAS BEEN SAFELY RECOVERED.
Cancellation issued 1648 hrs...sorry for the delay in posting.

Rose Doran is safe. A sigh of relief from me. Being a Pennsylvanian, I looked for details but found nothing.
No wonder so many people without children look younger than those who do! (So I've been told.)
