An NBC exec said Fred Thompson probably wont return to the show, fuel presidential candidacy rumors
No one knows for sure if Law & Order actor and former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson will be running on the republican ticket in the upcoming presidential election, but NBC Entertainment President Kevin Reilly said its most likely that he wont be returning to the show.
Its pretty clear that Fred is going to be leaving the cast of the show no matter what, Reilly said. He added that he has no knowledge of Thompsons plans for candidacy. He will announce his decision this summer.
Thompson plays district attorney Arthur Branch on the NBC series. The network announced there will be an 18th season, but new episodes wont air until January after the Sunday-night football series is over.
Like most shows, Law & Order will start production earlier than usual as there may be a strike by the writers guild in the fall.
Lookin’ good!
Hillary is deeply saddened.
I just saw that, absolutely perfect reply to MM`s bloated letter.. “Mental institution Michael” lol!!
Where is this letter from the wide one? I loved Fred’s response, but have not read the drivel from the monster.
All signs are pointing to him jumping in. I would not expect a formal announcement until after the season ending show of Law & Order the last week of May.
El Obeso's letter was posted on Drudge this morning. Don't know if it's still there, however.
He has his sights on Pennsylvania Avenue instead.
Boy I’d give my eye teeth to know!
LOL! Fred Thompson just owned Micheal Moore and got a free campaign commercial in at the same time.
That man has my vote.
