A Boehner?

Doubtful, highly doubtful.

Just maybe, just maybe our side will learn how to play the game now . From the White House, to the Congress, to the RNC, the PR machine and lack of testicular fortitude has been absent for waaaaayyyyy too long if it was ever there. You can’t play today’s game with the old rules.

I am not holding my breath. Everytime it looked like someone on our side was finally getting it, they usually got the rug pulled out from under them, often by our own team.

What’s this little bulge on the House Republicans? Could it be a possible gonad?

Sort of. They're in the minority now, and (IMO) that's where they're most comfortable. They found and dusted off their "How to Fight wile in the Minority" booklet.

The Germaneness Rule: The rules of the House prohibit a bill from being amended with a
subject matter different from the primary text under consideration. This rule, commonly
known as the germaneness rule, is considered the single most important rule of the House of
Representatives because of the need to restrict the focus of such a large legislative body. The
germaneness rule applies to the proceedings in the House, the Committee of the Whole, and
the standing committees.

funny that buldge seems to only drop into view when they are OUT of power. Their identity is not one of leadership or rulers they are responders that have been trained to only respond to what is presented rather than have the vision to lead and guide that leadership.

That is an excellent explanation, thank you. Suppose a bill were to be introduced to authorize some repairs to a federal facility. Someone then inserts an amendment to raise taxes. Because the amendment would not be germain to the bill, it could be debated. Pelosi wants to let her goons amend bills and pass any number of laws without debate. Disgusting!

From USinfo.org...

The rules of the House prohibit amendments of a subject matter different from the text under consideration.
This rule, commonly known as the germaneness rule, is considered the single most important rule of the House of Representatives because of the obvious need to keep the focus of a body the size of the House on a predictable subject matter.
The germaneness rule applies to the proceedings in the House, the Committee of the Whole, and the standing committees. There are hundreds of prior rulings or "precedents" on issues of germaneness available to guide the Chair.

Basically that the motion to amend amendment must be relevant to the main motion. A problem is that the chair gets to decide relevance. Pelosi actually thinks she is henry Clay!

We get him on time delay, but at least Hannity has mentioned this. Our local talk radio had Radanovich on and blew the opportunity to ask him what was happening.
