I like Schlussel, but something is wrong with this story. They are looking for any attorney In Chicago?? If there is something to this case, they will be lining up to take it on a contingency. A lot's wrong with it. Rush North Shore Medical Center is the former Skokie Valley Community Hospital, in Skokie, IL. A muslim doctor unwilling to treat Jewish patients wouldn't last there. As you'll note from the link upthread, 15 doctors being sued, a number with Jewish sounding surnames, one muslim, thus Debbies charge.
And if there's a there there, it's not difficult to find a malpractice attorney, or any attorney, on Chicago's north shore.

I’d like to see all the weeping Wendys hereabouts, who are always siding with all the poor downtrdden “moderate muslims” who are supposed to exist out there, go out and select a muslim surgeon to operate on their kafir a** next time they need surgery... ‘Ya know, put their money (and their life) where their mouth is.

You're welcome. It's on my ftp. Copy it and pass it around. So many people are not aware of the hell Israeli's must live through on a daily basis. The left keeps the bs going that Israel is the aggressor.
I'm sorry if it schocked anyone. it did me.

I doubt that a Muslim doctor would tell anyone about refusing to treat Jewish patients. Debbie’s focus is on the Muslim doctor because he was the chief resident doctor assigned to treat Joseph Applebaum. Maybe he just forgot or was busy taking a prayer break.

"Rush North Shore Medical Center is the former Skokie Valley Community Hospital, in Skokie, IL." A few years back my MIL was in that ER. There was a middle-aged white woman, likely having a stroke (disoriented, right side weakness),and they has her SITTING IN THE WAITING room for 45 minutes while they processed people heard of her at the intake window. Her family was going nuts when I left.
Based on what I saw, the place is staffed by equal-opportunity incompetents.

I agree that something is wrong here. And the first question I’d ask Mr. Applebaum’s son is: you are a doctor and you just sat there?
Schlussel is doing a disservice here, in my opinion.

"...never treated by anyone at the hospital. For 12 hours, Joe Applebaum was left alone...
I am not buying into this. This is CLEARLY a nursing issue. Any patient who was not seen by anyone at the hospital.. died as a result of nursing neglect. If he had been checked by nurses, an emergency physician could have treated him regardless of what the Muslim Dr. did or did not do, period.
Truth and honesty counts.

Read the article. In it it says that the son asked the Muslim about his father’s case and his treatment. The MUSLIM LIED TO HIM ! ! !
Google al-tarqayaa nad kitman. Muslims lie - it part of their religious faith when talking to non Muslims.
Islam, and its believers, are antithetical to American society.
Islam delenda est! - that must become America’s battle cry.

Hmmmm. Id like a little direct evidence. I agree. I certainly believe that Islam is evil. However, at this point, this story is simply conjecture. The malpractice issue will be sorted out. There appears to be nothing to support the religious angle.

“Mr. Applebaum’s son, Michael, is a medical doctor and an attorney.”
Did I read this right? We’re supposed to believe that this Dr/lawyer allowed his father to wait 12 hours in an emergency room seeing the condition he was in?
There’s something fishy about this story

Many years ago, the ambulance company I worked for sent my partner and me to a patient’s room in Palisades General Hospital to render aid to one of their patients and remove him to the emergency department of another facility. Dr. Applebaum, supposedly watching this happen, was capable of persuading another physician to treat his father, or at least arranging an emergency transfer to another facility since this one was not caring for his father’s condition. He did not do so. There is more to this story than given in this article.
Palisades General, known as the Stairway to Heaven, closed a couple of years after that incident.

Foreign physicians from Muslim countries have been working in the US in increasing numbers over several decades. The root cause of the phenomenon is that the US can't attract its best and brightest into the medical profession as it once did. And that, in turn, is because of pervasive and ever-expanding interference in the physician's practice coming from government and HMOs and other "third party" payers. The bright young American men or women who in previous years, not all that long ago, would have been attracted to medicine as a profession, often choose alternative career paths to earn a better living with less hassles and more respect and independence. The vacuum created is filled by inferior foreign-trained immigrant physicians.
Frankly, it's hardly a surprise that a tragic incident as described by Debbie Schlussel has occurred. It's probably not the first and almost surely not the last. It's an inevitable result of the social and demographic problems afflicting the medical profession and many others, and government policy is largely to blame.

I'd like a little direct evidence. Why not contact the deceased patient's son, who is filing the malpractice suit? His name is in the article.
