Islam will become history in less than 20 years, sooner possibly.
Islam is an authoritarian cult, and one of the features of a cult is control of externals and a complete lack of confidence in the follower’s ability to make moral decisions on his own.
Of course, that’s partly because there is no morality per se in Islam. Islam doesn’t believe in a rational God who can be glimpsed through his creation and the law he has stamped on it, which is the foundation of all morality and human relationships. Natural law does not exist in Islam, because no law exists except Islamic law (sharia) as conveyed through Mohammed and his clergy. Every human act is governed by a set of ritualistic prohibitions or commandments, which are purely arbitrary and exist primarily to demonstrate the control of the cult and the submission of the follower, as well as to extend the group identity of the cult.
And I'll take it a step further. Their obessive control is especially harsh towards women. Picture a female in the full burka get-up with everything covered in black, save a small portion over the eyes....in other words, "women, you had better cover yourselves up completely lest we men totally lose control if we see any hint of skin....and if we do and you get raped, well, it's your fault since we saw that bit of skin."
Now, from us on the outside, we can see that the reality is that the male is admitting that they are weak, stupid creatures who respond Pavlov-style to certain triggers. Knowing this, how can we exploit that weakness? Seriously, their pathological "logic" must be able to be used to OUR advantage somehow....(or do I just need more coffee this morning?!)

I had a co-worker years ago who visited Egypt. She was morbidly obese, and I mean, HUGE. She was quite pretty, in her way and had a good sense of humor and a bright personality.
She came back from her visit a bit flustered and possibly a little titillated, though, because in some villages, when she walked by, young males masturbated right there in public. I guess her weight was considered erotic and desirable: She joked about staying there, but gave it no serious consideration.
I cannot believe I am writing something that may be defensive of Islam, but I suspect there is something universal in this.
My father was an artist. He used to comment, in an amazed manner, that in Drawing, there could be a nude model in front of the class. Where was he looking? At the student next to him, whose skirt had ridden up. He would say, "There is more sex in a nun's ankle than in a nude- It is the view of something forbidden and the element of mystery". Islam takes it to preposterous lengths, and makes a parody of the effect, but that could be the origin of the craziness.
However, I agree, too, that Islam takes it to preposterous lengths....no doubt your father would not have taken advantage of the girl in class and then claimed it was her fault....he could exercise that thing called 'control'. (and also a thing called 'respect'...something else missing in Islam's vocabulary)

Really! There has to something in the genes of these folks that makes them so malliable (sp). They are born ranting about this or that. Look at it. They choose death over life, have really weird sex views, prefer to chant and point their fingers into the air in the streets to protest this or that. Go figure.

You have hit upon their flaw, which is one that can be used for their undoing. They could be thrust into a reformation and given the nature of the information age, this could happen easier than what happened for Christianity.
