Impeach Traitors in CongressViolaters of Oath of Office
United States Senate ^ | 05/18/07 | Charlied

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God

Impeach all that vote for the current Immigration bill.

As far as I’m concerned, this is a DIRECT result of those conservatives who stayed home — or voted for a 3rd party candidate — and let 10-15000 votes turn the Senate over to the dems.

Proof positive that you shouldn't drink and post.

A good idea. However, I do not think the people can recall or impeach a senator or congressman. If I’m correct this is probably one of the reasons the legislators have such scorn for the people. The other reason being, of course, the hatred that all vice ridden trash feel towards those that are decent and hardworking.

“If president Bush does not veto amnesty bill, we promise to support impeachment and cutting Iraq war funds”.

Interesting proposition!! I like it!

I don’t know what to expect from Bush any longer. I’ve defended him since he was elected. I’ve always supported him in his decisions.Because I respected him. I am saddened ,disappointed by the way America is being “given away”.I live outside of Pasadena,Texas . Each time I go there it is closer to being Mexico than Mexico. Each morning ,I read The Houston Chronicle ,City and State section of the paper. So many articles on Mexicans shooting ,killing and running over people. We have gangs all over. Go to the San Jacinto Monument on a weekend.Total disrespect for the Texas history there.Trash gets thrown everywhere ,beer cans etc. Go into a department store ,especially on a weekend. It looks trashy. I’ve been run over by them pushing shopping carts. Had their children knock items off the shelves ,pull clothes off the racks, race thru the departments, showing no respect. In five years ,you won’t recognize this country if this passes. Also I’m tired of being told in job hunting ,that being bi lingual is a must!!I do not live in Mexico ,by choice. I am a fifth generation Texan.

Just for clarification, which part of the Constitution deals with immigration?

Members of the Legislative Branch can't be impeached.

They can, however, be thrown out on their @$$e$ from office in their next election. It would be more fitting if they were thrown in jail.

So, how do you explain the REPUBLICAN senate pushing this same ugly mess through before they lost last year? It passed then too, remember? Maybe next time we can get a few more democrats with an R beside their names out of the senate.

To: jyro; All

It is called Recall by the way not impeachment for the people to remove a Senator in midterm due to a violation of the public trust and this definitely qualifies.

Cleaver line, but a bunch of BS!

So your saying the FACT that 10-15000 votes did not swing control of the Senate to the dems -- AND -- that conservatives didn't fail to vote (in large numbers) to keep the dems out of power!!

I was paying attention to the elections and the numbers that killed the Republican majority in the Senate, stone cold sober...you must be the one who does the drinking instead.

Too late, the liberal freaks already want to surrender and cut funds to the military.

Impeach? Impeach?

You are so kind!

The F__k__g traitors should be strung up by their balls with their heads over ant hills!

And smear chocolate all over their bodies to give the ants an enjoyable time!

More likely they will get rid of a few more conservatives with R’s by their names now that control of the the AGENDA of the Senate is in the hands of the dems.

There is nothing impeachable here. The congress has the legal and constitutional right to pass any law that they can muster a majority of votes for. The unconstitutionality of the law can only be determined y the SCOTUS and removal from office can only be done by the voters in an election or by the same majority of congress that voted for the laws. It is unfortunate that many would trash the constitution because they oppose what others are doing within it.

but Bush does not want it. It just forces Bush to choose between Amnesty and Iraq funds (+impeachment).

It is time to ask yourself the fundamentals questions. What is important to you. Amnesty is permanent. War is temporary. Even supreme court justices are temporary. This is the defining moment for our country. I have been a staunch supporter of Bush, but amnesty is too much to bear.

“I also blame (Bush and) the republicans who are now running to the left”

Big of you to actually include the actual elected politicians involved in this latest example of lunacy./sarcasm//

Do share with us your opinion of those who stopped participating in political elections long ago, because there was no “none of the above” option.
That would cover close to 50% of all legal, eligiable voters.

No, I am not one of them. I vote, but I am tired of constantly selecting the lessor of the proffered two "evils".
As Florida recently passed a law requiring a “none of the above” selection option on ballots, we just might convince a lot more people to exercise their right to vote.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if “nobody” was actually elected by an overwhelming majority to hold government office?

People staying home didn’t cause this. Amnesty was one of the reasons people stayed home. Bush was pushing this nonsense long before the last election.

If I must choose between the two the WOT is more important to me. If we let the terrorist win nothing else will matter.
