Pray for President Bush Day 2425

Dear Lord, All praise and honor and glory be unto You this Lord's day and throught this week. We come to You this afternoon with prayers of thanksgiving and petition, knowing You are God and nothing is too hard for You.

Father, this Sunday I come to You and pray specifically for the situation in Iraq and our President as he makes decisions concerning it. I read how the UK may not be with us any longer in Iraq and know that his will put our troops in that much more distress. Father, guide this situation. Give our President the wisdom to do what he needs to do and the courage to do it. Help him to triumph over his enemies and the enemies of the land. And bless him with Your presence along the way.

I lift up Your people Israel, Father, and ask that You would protect them from those who seek their destruction. Draw out Your remnant from them Lord. And be glorified before the nations.

Go with us the rest of this day and move in our churches. Send revival our way Lord, that we may be pleasing in your sight. For it is in the precious name of Christ Jesus my Lord that I pray these things, Amen.

I also pray that he remembers what happenned to the Israelites who allowed the heathen to share their Promised Land with them.
