Do you believe President Bush's actions justify impeachment?   * 439318 responses
Yes, between the secret spying, the deceptions leading to war and more, there is plenty to justify putting him on trial.
88%
No, like any president, he has made a few missteps, but nothing approaching "high crimes and misdemeanors."
4.4%
No, the man has done absolutely nothing wrong. Impeachment would just be a political lynching.
6%
I don't know.

**Understand it (if you think you can). But I’ve made my decision.**

i'd say that implies i can't understand the written bill....by the way, it's not even finished yet.

Not with this bill. There are other options, much better than this, and real fences should be built, not just virtual ones. The politicians behind this bill are both incompetent and devious, some are one type, others are the other type, and some are both.

He has kept your ungrateful ass safe from being blown up by a terrorist bomb.

With all the Islamic immigration we've had since 9/11, don't count on it.

gads, most of the ones we know about have been here for years...we have spies from every country on planet earth too...like i said only a bubble covering this country will keep all the bad guys out. yes, we have a problem...it’s how we deal with this problem that is the question.

The most important thing by far is sealing the borders.

i see that you are a one issue person..

Yes, America is my one issue. The continued existence of this country and its sovereignty is my top priority.

If this immigration bill passes, America is essentially gone. That doesn't seem to bother you.

The war on terror pales in comparison to the significance of this issue. The terrorist don't threaten our existence. This bill does.

Bush essentially wrote this bill. It's his brainchild. Anyone who votes for it or speaks well of it or just doesn't fight against it strongly enough is bad, too, but Bush is calling the shots.

No, I meant that the bill is VERY complicated. People in DC are still trying to figure out out. One thing it doesn't do is solve the illegal immigration problem. Some things we can deduce from just skimming it. I'm looking forward to listening to the debates on CSPAN, if they're recorded for later download.

No, the most important thing is fighting and winning the WOT and we are on our way to victory thanks to GW. Sealing the borders is part of that but not only that.

I'm thinking it's a matter of conclusions. Iwo and I conclude the bill is destructive. Jewels thinks it's not such a problem. Senator Sessions is puzzling over this and will have some concrete facts to report during the debates to happen after Memorial day. I've already made up my mind, though.

Disagree, GW has stirred up hornets, but he hasn't killed nearly enough of them. Then he left the borders wide open. Trouble, trouble, trouble.

It's amnesty all right. As for 6 years, LOL! That's a lie. Nothing that they put in the bill can be trusted because they are not honest.

We don't need any path to citizenship. We don't need any more citizens. There should be NO citizenship provisions whatsoever in this bill.

how and with what, 6000 miles between the north and south, plus how many on the coast??? think a 20 foot fence would be high enough? what about those tunnels? how are you going to stop all those? i’d like more on the boarders, but that’s where you talk to the actual authors of this bill...email, call the senators, tell them. if you haven’t notice the angry on both sides has all ready made a difference. i say that this bill will not pass.

We spend billions on incarceration of illegals. We could save the money it would cost to incarcerate just one year’s worth of them by building the whole fence.

On the southern border where most illegal immigration happens. Coastal security is a different matter. That includes trade. Free trade with China has been in the news lately. That’s another Bush pet policy: totally free trade with China, which is using our dollars to build weapons that could strike LA and NYC with nuclear weapons, some of which were stolen from our labs.

Exactly. And I have always opposed it. We do not need a “comprehensive” plan. We don’t need any new law at all. We just need to enforce existing laws.

My most personal of personal opinions. I think it's disgusting to seriously talk of impeaching our President.

I thought most were just venting or joking, but, it seems that many are serious. That scares me.

Has everyone forgot all of the good actions our President has taken? Or, just the fact that by his becoming POTUS, we were saved form algore?

What would algore have done on 9/11?

I'm just as pizzed as anyone, I feel like I got kicked in the gut on Friday, and I'm starting to feel that way again, but for a different kind of backstabbing.

No. I say, not just no but, hell no! Do I want to impeach my President? Not on my life.

\hardhat on

Right, folks saying we were wrong to support Bush and amnesty before are forgetting that Kerry was supporting amnesty and ending the war before it was won.

....he is a fantasic person, and loves this nation...

Do you really believe this? Why is he trying so hard to obliterate our culture and replace it with third world culture? Don't forget that Bush is a "Bonesman" and his allegiance is there.
