Uhm, I don’t know maybe because its already ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, and therefore a violation of law already.

Have we really reached the point as conservatives of adopting the mindset that making or changing law can solve every problem?

Maybe if we could just NOT prosecute border patrol agents who attempt to do their job, and make an effort for better enforcement?

So far, there are two ‘Pubbies for whom I will not vote, if they are the candidates for the General Election - McInsane and Guiliani.
Most of the others, including Ron Paul, I might like or not, but I’m willing vote for ‘em in the General Election.

A press conference in which he documentably LIED saying that they had tests that showed there were “not unsafe levels of chemicals” at ground zero.

All of the tests show the opposite, and people have already died from the exposure.

Why not wait for proper precautionary measures for the volunteers? What was the hurry to clean up? (destroy the evidence of a Federally protected crime scene)

No, it can't solve 'every' problem. But that is what a congressman is for, is it not? Some have actually produced legislation that did some good, like Duncan Hunter. Some have never tried to do anything about illegal immigration, they could have in these many years at least insist the laws be enforced, like Ron Paul.

Yep, and what about the ones that choose not to go get the national card?

Mark my words though, the National (Real ID) system as it was passed does apply to citizens. It has already been passed and integrates with the Drivers’ licenses in each state. Many states are now acting to opt out of this program which is good.

We we need to be VERY careful that we are not manipulated by a truly outrageous situation like illegal immigration to demand a “solution” that will be used against the free sovereign citizens of this Republic.

New programs, laws, monitoring and approval of identity are NOT needed. There are already plenty of resources for this in place for employers who care about verifying this.

This is not a problem that the Congress can fix, because all they do is prohibit or subsidize things. Enforcement is the executive branch and that is where the complete failure is.
