In other words, he's for amnesty.
He just doesn’t do straight answers, does he? He was great on 9/11 but, he’s not the complete package. But then, I am biased. (cough)
buh*bye Rudy
Rudy is so last week.
Guiliani and Mc Cainiac - BOOOOOOOM!
I’ll agree as soon as I see a stake driven through the heart of his campaign.
Yep. Romney, McCain, and Rudy can have a pillow fight over how big the fines should be, how good the new ID should be, how many relatives can come join them.
The bottom line, anything short of not allowing illegals residency is amnesty. Whether it takes 5 years and $5K to apply for citizenship or 10 years and $10K, it matters not.
See my tagline.
I don’t believe Rudy or McCain will make it thru the nominating process. It’s still pretty early and folks like us are having an effect on them. We’ll need to keep up the pressure and shine the light of truth on them.
Hannity is in LOVE with Giuliani...never misses a chance on his show to boost him. Don’t look for much in the way of support from Hannity on anyone but Giuliani...that’s his boy.
Watching Special Report today, they showed Romney taking a huge lead in Iowa in these early worthless polls. Romney has 30%, Giuliani 18% and McCain 17%. It must really suck to peak about a year before the first vote is even cast.
Giuliani is done.

GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney on Thursday blasted the Senate immigration bill agreement as “the wrong approach” for solving the problems of illegal immigration.
Romney, former governor of Massachusetts, said the bill falls short of the goals necessary to secure U.S. borders and ensure that corporations do not provide a safe haven for illegals, regardless of the attraction of cheap labor.
“Any legislation that allows illegal immigrants to stay in the country indefinitely, as the new ‘Z-Visa’ does, is a form of amnesty,” Romney said in a statement on his campaign Web site. “That is unfair to the millions of people who have applied to legally immigrate to the U.S.”
Romney hinted that a form of national I.D. may be necessary to get a handle on the overflow of illegal immigrants into the United States and the hiring of illegals by corporations within the country.
“[The] Senate agreement falls short of the actions needed to both solve our country’s illegal immigration problem and also strengthen our legal immigration system,” Romney said. “Border security and a reliable employment verification system must be our first priority . . .
“I strongly oppose today’s bill . . . It is the wrong approach.”
I guess you missed this thread. Romney is not for this immigration deal or anything like it and he has publicly stated it.
I hope Romney is peaking 9 months too soon as well.
I don’t trust any of the “big 3” on immigration. There are just too many flip flops and backtracks among them.
So we get a National ID card so Rudy et al’s of the world can pimp away the Republican Party for a few bucks?
hmmm...how about no?
Notice how sycophantic Hannity asks one immigration question of his best-buddy Rudy and lets Rudy skate around the issue. What’s up with that?
BUILD THE DARN FENCE.
Then we’ll talk.
