Jimmy Carter is continuing his successful campaign to be named the worst ex-president and worst president in American history. There are over a million words in the English language, but none are precise enough to properly describe this petty, little, irresponsible, evil, incompetent, and liar, but I'll keep trying --snip--The Times relegated it to a small eight-paragraph story on page 17 of its May 21 edition, at the very bottom of the last news page. Even the loony, lefty Times that plays up every attack on Bush, wanted to bury the story

I read today that he is trying desperately to have someone take his place as the worst president in history. How true this is!

How about the worst Nobel Peace Prize winner? There’s some really stiff competition for that.

Some youngens hereabouts have been spouting nonsense that Clintoon was the worst president when we all know that he is second, by several laps, to Carter.

Ain't a youngen.....and happen to think the "RAPIST's" deeds won't be exposed for years....if ever.
IMO, Carter was light weight to the RAPIST.

Sen. Eugene McCarthy, in explaining why, as a Democrat, he voted for Reagan: "Mr. Carter quite simply abdicated the whole responsibility of the presidency while in office. He left the nation at the mercy of its enemies at home and abroad. He was the worst president we ever had." I might have to put Eugene McCarthy on my list of leftists who have honor. That would double the list (Patrick Moynahan being the other).

The paper might have a conservative bent, but they did pull their punches when they didn’t point out that Jimmuh was bought by Saudi Arabia years ago.

One reason Clinton rates better then carter as a President, in overall perception, is he was fortunate enough to be in office during an economic boom (not that he had much to do with it).
The economy under Carter was a disaster, which makes it even easier to dislike the putz.

To paraphrase George Will, "Bill Clinton wasn't the worst President, but he certainly was the worst person to ever be President!"
It appears that Carter was the worst President ever, and now has lapped the field in for the worst ex-President!

Damn ! This is the first time I’ve read that Gene McCarthy quote.
To: Michael.SF.
As great as Reagan's presidency was and as many major goals he reached in office, perhaps his greatest and most important contribution was getting Jimmy Carter out of the White House.
God bless the memory of Eugene McCarty for a spot-on critique of Carter's presidency.

I do hope that the 2008 map looks similar! After seeing the performance of the loser "progressives" in every current crisis facing us (and there are several) that is almost a foregone conclusion.
Even doped out democrats can recognized treason, incompetence and criminal leadership.

When we recognize March 26 as the anniversary of peace between Egypt and Israel, we should remember Anwar Sadat, and not Jimmy Carter. Through three wars elements in the Arab world had used Egyptian blood for vicarious satisfaction of their hatred of Israeli Jews. Sadat brought an end to this cycle with his historic trip to Jerusalem on November 7, 1977 to begin a process, which he formalized with the Camp David Accords the following September, and the peace treaty of 1979. For his extraordinary statesmanship, the Arab League suspended Egyptian membership, and Sadat was assassinated by terrorists in 1981. In comparison, Begin risked little politically, and in spite of Sadats exceedingly gracious statement, Carter just served milk and cookies.

Clinton had a Republican Congress for six of eight years to restrain him. Carter OTOH, had a full-tilt moonbat Congress to help him come out on top as a no-doubter, absolute-disaster, danger to the Republic, slather on the malaise please, worst President of the century.
