Yesterday, Rosie's chief writer, Janette Barber, was allegedly escorted from the building after she was caught drawing moustaches on photographs of Hasselbeck that hang in the "View" studios.
The Post's Adam Buckman reports ABC confirmed in a statement only that "photographs at 'The View's' offices were defaced. Rosie O'Donnell was not in the building. ABC Legal and Human Resources are investigating the matter." Barber is an old friend of O'Donnell who worked with her years ago on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show."
There were also rumors O'Donnell was so angry after her argument with Hasselbeck that she trashed her dressing room, although ABC denied the tantrum.
As for O'Donnell, she's been posting comments on her personal Web site, rosie.com, fueling speculation she might not return to "The View" ever again. Her scheduled last day is Wednesday, June 20.
When one fan wrote, "Work isn't worth that battle," Rosie replied, "Agreed." Another wrote, "Please walk away. It's not worth it." Rosie replied, "Well, you know when it's time to go."
To a fan who asked when she would return, O'Donnell answered, "No idea."
Yesterday, O'Donnell posted a video that may have symbolized how she's feeling about "The View."
The tape consisted of ducks swimming in a pond accompanied by an audio track of the John Mayer song "Vultures," whose lyrics include "How will I hold my head to keep from going under?"
Officially, "The View" expects O'Donnell to return to work on Tuesday.

Wow - that’s the first time I’ve seen it. Rosie is such a waste of cells.
You have to remember that she's in NYC where someone with views like hers is immediately demonized and discarded if possible by the MSM. If she were any less polite, or genteel, or civilized then the whole city would be talking about what an evil B!Ch she is and how poor Rosie shouldn't have to put up with her.
The fact that she handles it all so gracefully is what makes it possible for her to continue to fight at all. She has to be like the tide flowing in, not the wave crashing down, or she'll be out of there like last week's news. Just look at the way that imbecile Donald Trump took a cheap shot at her... that's exactly what all of NYC would be like if she always treated Rosie the way that Rosie treats her.
The fact that she stood up this one time and gave as good as she got could be attributed to her pregnancy or whatever (when it could really be that she's just had enough) but if she doesn't go straight back to smiles and sweetness tomorrow then you'll be able to watch the MSM turn on her like dogs.
Her views to them are heresy... a sort of ecclesiastical high treason, and they don't allow them to be viewed in the same light as their own opinions.
Personally I think she's doing great.
And my views are utterly uninfluenced by the fact that she had the best legs on television.
Believe me Rosie isnt the only retard on that show.

I saw clips of the exchange. Bottom line- Rosie could not defend her remarks and in her mind, transferred the responsibility of defense to Elizabeth.
Therefore, in her narcissism, it must have been “necessary” to hurt Elizabeth the way the Rosie felt hurt.
Elizabeth has class, but she wasn’t mild. That was Rosie’s problem, she would not defer to Rosie’s demands.
Anyone identifying themselves as a Rosie “fan” should have their sanity and priorities checked.

The three also get the willing help of a simpatico audio mixer, who makes sure their voice levels are higher than EH’s, whenever they are talking over her.
Rosie is on his way back into the dark shadows where he operates best. He is an angry person and it is amazing that he can get so many lemmings to follow him.
I think Rosie should be put on a suicide watch.
I am serious. She is lashing out against everything in a childlike manner and she might just do herself in and blame “right wing exteremists” in a last note.
Rosie is an extermely and singularly unhappy woman.
It’s even less newsworthy than the report that Irving Schmuckbucket of East Elbow Arkansas reorganized his sock drawer.
No doubt if these radical pigs ever get full power in this country that they will make sure we are disposed of.
