It was a very hot day, especially on the steps. The speaker system was sufficient enough to allowed a lot of them to also sit off to the side in the shade.
In comparison to GoE I, yes the numbers were down, which is expected so soon after GoE I. And a lot stayed home for their own town’s celebrations.
But all in all, those who attended had a good time.

Unemployed and broke at the moment. Looking for a job. I have had several interviews and I am going to Massachusetts for an interview tomorrow. I'm going to be there 3 days. Most of my time has been spent trying to survive.

OK what do you mean. I was making an observation. It would seem that my observation was correct. I hate it that not more people were there. I wish I could have been there but I have not stepped on anybody’s thread. The fact that you don’t like my truthful observation is too bad.

Those were great pictures!

Great pictures. Looks like it was a really good day!
Our local parade was nice. Lead by the local VFW which included a young Marine . No moonbats to ruin the day.

Saw the tents. We were there early and we should have wondered under the tent to say ‘hi’ to everyone. But there will be other GoE events.

I notice the camouflage shirt worn by the lady in the first pic.
Camouflage pattern dresses, skirts and shirts are becoming more common attire for waitresses at my favorite watering hole. Go Army and Semper Fi T-shirts are also popular. Dancers are starting to wear camouflage pattern bikinis.
The GI customers do seem to like it.

I would also like the dancers, but don't watch them any more. Enjoying being too old and too married.
