Environmentalism is a form of socialism. Its goals are the same... mass impoverishment in the name of a higher good.
Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." -Manuel II Paleologus

Going considerably further, the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has urged a 60 percent reduction. I would wager tha 40% of the global production of CO2 by humans is from respiration. Is that is all that is to be left to us? That we be allowed to continue breathing? Or does the UN have a plan for that, too?

Thanks for posting this. It is absolutely imperative that this kind of information be widely disemmenated. Too many folks think that all they have to do to fight global warming is buy the new light bulbs. They simply do not see the radical changes in life style necessary to implement the environmentalist agenda.
I would like to see an article that takes this a step further and describes how life would be if these steps were taken.

It’s too bad Ayn Rand isn’t alive today. Her voice is certainly needed although she saw the final result of the Left’s philosophy long ago. What’s being proposed
by the enviros makes Pol Pot’s Cambodia look like a blueprint for their future plans for mankind.

Britain's Stern Review, published in the fall of 2006, seeks a reduction of 25 percent by the year 2050. Going considerably further, the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has urged a 60 percent reduction.I'd bet even a 60% reduction in CO2 emissions from today's level does not take the world back to the emissions level from before the temperature "hockey stick" curve occurs, which they believe human emitted CO2 is causing.
Obviously these people are more interested in reducing modern man to animals than in science.

while global emissions will be reduced by 25 percent, or by 60 percent, emissions in China, India, and the rest of the so-called third world will be allowed to go on increasing, presumably until there is equality in per capita emissions across the world. We had better not EVER submit ourselves to UN rule. There is no doubt this is how they will "EQUALIZE" the US population to the rest of the world.
They want to Tax us to death, and reduce us to third world status.
