This bill, if enacted, would truly devalue US citizenship. It cheapens it. I also highly value my US citizenship. Many of our elites could care less. They are wealthy enough to insulate themselves. Many can work and live happily in any number of foreign countries
It's the same as legal gay marriage diluting the value of real traditional marriage. It cheapens it

Manhattan Institute's Tamar Jacoby defends the immigration bill.
No shock there.
The couple of times I've seen Ms. Jacoby on TV, she sounds like
she's close to the "Unlimited Immigration, All The Time, For
Anybody" crowd.
Of course I don't know what her stance is on folks trying to
immigrate in other situations, e.g., trying to enter Mexico via
their southern border...

>>But of course opponents would prefer to do nothing at all to improve enforcement and remain with the broken down status quo.<<
I guess if you went to the doctor with belly pains and he said he had to implant some hemorrhoids in you to cure it you would say that we have to do
something, so go ahead. If I were to write a satire of a bad immigration bill, it would look like the real one they are trying to impose on us. Pathetic.
