Mr. Thompson said the new bill is "the same deal" offered in the 1986 amnesty -- legalization of illegal aliens in exchange for border security -- but said Americans won't be fooled again.

Fred is saying what we feel! If Fred can channel the righteous anger that is sweeping across our Republic into a passionate defense of the goodness of America, then he can quickly overwhelm the frontrunner's. Heck, a good percentage of regular democrats would be persuaded to help give him an overwhelming win over the Socialists. I pray Fred stands strong on the side of Liberty, securing our borders, and the WOT. (Also, it would be great if he would call AGW what it is, a total fraud -- I know, attacking AGW is too much to hope for at this point :)

Now I think I know what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they’re not listening still.
Perhaps they never will...

Who cares if they ever listen, we’ll elect Senator Thompson and GWB can go have a scavenger hunt (anyone find the uterus?) down around Crawford.

Yep.

The Passport Agency sure has done a terrible job of keeping up with demand for passports since the new travel laws have taken effect. Handling immigration paperwork for 20+ million illegals would cause more bureaucratic bloat, and would be inefficient at best— a disaster at worst.

Exactly Eagle... I sure hope we can stop this somehow, or you’re right — it will have a disastrous effect.

Could we get one on the border, by any chance?

Then by all means let’s adopt a guest worker program.

(in that order)

I like Fred. I also like Hunter and some of the other conservatives, so I’m not ready to settle on one candidate just yet. Will be interesting to see if Fred knocks Rudy McRomney down a few pegs and to see which of the conservative candidates move up. Fred looks to be one who can liven up the race for conservatives. I’m thinking he’s a RINO killer. We’ll see.

Hey, leave George Kennedy out of this. He was great in Cool Hand Luke and the Naked Gun movies! :)

And of course the classic Irwin Allen Airport movies. Airport I thru XXXVI if I recall correctly.

That pic is over a decade old. This one is current. Let's live in reality, folks:

It really all comes down to enforcing existing laws. Congress' thinking has been as muddled as the irrational of the middle ages describing laws of planetary movements in epicycles. This time it's migration movements.

Once again congress ignores reality and slaps their constituents' faces with manufactured dogma.
