Join "The Save America Campaign"

Today I am launching a campaign to stop the U.S. Senate from selling out our country by giving amnesty to over fifteen million illegal aliens - but I can't do it without your help.

Please sign the "No Amnesty" Citizen Petition committing yourself to working with me to defeat amnesty politicians and call your Senators today and tell them you have joined the growing army of Americans dedicated to the defeat of amnesty and all those who would support it.

I hate to think of how grotesque our country would become if we tried to expel 15 million people. It would not be quick, and it would not be painless, and comparisons with ethnic cleansing would be everywhere.

It would involve arresting small children in school, if you can imagine what that would do to all of the children, psychologically. People would become hysterical at the sight of police arresting their fellow workers at their places of employment.

Dear God, it sounds like something out of Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union of Alexander Solzhenitsyn.

Except many police, cities and some States would just refuse. The public would start to physically attack those who tried to arrest, ICE agents would be scorned.

Please think about this before you consider it. This is not some damn TV show, or just an emotional gratification for the same people who want felon convicts to be tortured for punishment.

This is 15 million people, many of who *are* integrating and learning English, and trying hard to be Americans. Please think of how horrible it would be for you and your family to be uprooted and kicked across the border into what is now a foreign country.

It is just not right. It is evil.

If employers could not hire them and they could not get free food, medicine and have anchor babies they will self deport. Your arguement is BS. No one wants to round them up and ship them out, we want them to leave by cutting off their gravy train.

“It is evil.”

I don’t agree with your predictions.

Don’t be foolish. The illegal immigrants KNOW they are illegal. When they see that our government is SERIOUS about upholding our immigration laws, many of them will return on their own.

In years past, our government’s immigration department handled deportations without a public outcry of being
heavy handed.

Sure, the illegals will feel the pressure. All people who break laws carry around a certain amount of fear of being caught. That’s human nature.

In this upside-down situation we have now, the persons who are breaking the law have a mindset that they are the victims and our law enforcement agencies are the bad guys.

Your sentiments do much to perpetuate this faulty thinking.

We live in a country based on law. No one should be above the law. If we loose the handle on this immigration thing, we might as well say goodbye to ever expecting people to obey the law. We will become a lawless society.

Your comments remind of parents who are afraid to discipline their children because the children won’t like it. You also are exhibiting the habit of burying one’s head in the sand and whistling in the dark that all is well — when in fact, these illegals and this terribly Anti-American immigration bill being considered — will be the downfall of the United States. We can’t afford to look the other way. We must insist that the immigration laws be enforced — before we pass more laws.

I hate how parts of MY Country have already become grotesque because of the invasion of illegal aliens. I hate to think how grotesque the entire Country will become unless we take back our sovereignty. No one is advocating roundups of all invaders, just enforce the laws we have and deny the invaders employment and social services and they will return to their own countries, women, children and all.

And BTW, if the invaders ever do resort to violence they will find that a fed-up and armed American citizenry will be the proverbial sleeping giant suddenly awakened and in no mood for the gentleness heretofore shown the invaders.

Shouldn't have come in illegally, now should they. No sympathy whatsoever for any criminals from me.

Giving them amnesty is not a good idea, even if you oppose deportation.

“If employers could not hire them and they could not get free food, medicine and have anchor babies they will self deport.”

Exactly. Cut off the welfare and the jobs, and they’ll leave.

I don't say that we should have open borders, nor that we should accept those who are non-working criminal types who wish to abuse us. But no, 15 million men, women and children are not criminals, and certainly not felony criminals. Under current law illegal presence is not a criminal offense; it is a civil offense punishable by civil sanctions and deportation. In other words, the government was remiss in not preventing their entry into the US years ago. But now that they are here, some for many years, many with children born and raised in the US, deporting them is senseless cruelty. I am in favor of amnesty. Under the following conditions: 1) Illegals must be fully registered with the federal and State government in the State in which they reside. They must obey all licensing and insurance rules to drive, pay all back taxes assessed, they must have current vaccinations and be free from any contagious disease excluded from entry into the United States. 2) Adults must be either gainfully employed or live with a head of household who is gainfully employed. They must have a legal residence, and all children must be enrolled in school. 3) Felony convictions may result in permanent deportation after they serve their sentence. All citizenship requirements must be met within a limited period of time, and citizenship must be applied for an accepted for all members of the household. 4) Association with known criminals or violation of injunctions against gang participation may result in deportation. Payment of a $5,000 fine to offset the costs associated with their illegal presence. The bottom line is that the United States can and does assimilate a large number of people every year from many corners of the Earth. The current Mexican illegal alien problem is not because of an inability to integrate a reasonable number into our society, but because so many have entered illegally, they have overwhelmed our ability to integrate them. Fortunately, the birthrate in Mexico has now dropped to the developed nation level of 2.3 children per family. This means that no matter what we do, there will be a marked decline in the pressure of additional immigrants. And Mexicans as a people also have shown a much better ability to integrate than is typical for the other waves of immigrants that have arrived in America. Often the same household will have grandparents only slightly integrated, children who are functional in our society, and grandchildren who are fully American, with no ties left to Mexico. So in about 10 years, most of the problem will be over, no matter what we do. Unless we do something brutalitarian and dramatic.

Granted, illegal entry is not a felony but it doesn't stop there. On top of that if they hold jobs, they are either using forged documents or using stolen identity. How about obtaining goods and services under false pretenses? How about uttering and publishing as additional charges?

Any American citizen trying to pull this scrap would be in greybar hotel in no time flat, yet an illegal, because they are hard working, get away with it.

In other words, the government was remiss in not preventing their entry into the US years ago.

Now I've heard it all. Blame the US government for their criminal activity. If anyone is to blame it is people like you that have more concern about illegal foreign nationals than your own country and fellow Americans.

If you're so compassionate, why don't you publish your address along with an invitation for illegals to move into your house, feed them, provide the services of your doctor at your expense and pay their legals bills when needed?
