Nightmare Scenario for the Clinton Campaign

The USA Today/Gallup poll released yesterday morning showed - for the first time - that Barack Obama has pulled ahead of Hillary Clinton in a national survey.

The numbers were: Obama 30%, Clinton 29%.

According to USA Today's Susan Page: "The survey of 310 Democrats and 160 independents who 'lean' Democratic, taken Friday through Sunday, has a margin of error of +/- 5 percentage points" which means that Hillary might be ahead by as many as nine percentage points, or she might be as far behind as 11.

Mr. Barack Obama Hussein might want to hire some food tasters.

Go Obama!

If he gets the nomination, he’ll pull in the black racists and the hand-wringing guilty white liberals.

That will get him what.....25% of the total vote?

In a perverse way, I hope Hillary! starts falling farther and farther behind, if only to see the bloodsport begin.

Actually she might be as far ahead as 100 points or as far behind as 100 points. The MOE has a confidence level associated with it, it is not a certainty that the actual is even within the MOE.

Actually, you want her to stay within striking distance to see the real blood bath this is gonna turn into. If you really want to see dirty politics this year, watch the Democratic primary.

She will win the nomination, but may take Obama on as VP.

Yeah, but that’s probably 70% of the Democratic party vote.

Do not underestimate the threat to the nation Obama poses. He is probably a more formidable general election candidate than Hillary - he's further left than she is and does not have her negatives.

I hope Hillary falls farther and farther behind in a very REAL way.

Obama is ignorant, inexperienced, wrongheaded and useless.

But Hillary is EVIL. Pure communist evil, in a stalin sort of way.

The blood sport if she falls behind will just be a nice bonus (as long as she loses, that is).

Wishful thinking? Maybe. Hope not.

“She will win the nomination, but may take Obama on as VP.”

Never. The RATS are racists and would sooner let Obama shine their Foot Joys then be their VP nominee.

And the convention is in just 13 months.

Giving the wife of the "first black president" ample time to become even blacker than Obama.

Blacks still aren’t sure if Obama’s “down for the struggle” although many are vacillating. They have been hoping for a viable black Democrat candidate for decades (Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have never been nor will ever be viable). Now they’ve got one and self appointed black leaders continue to sit back and take potshots at him.

It’s starting to look as if Obama is in it for real. I think, at this point, his support is coming from liberal whites sick of the Clintons and everyday black people - not leaders. If he continues to ascend, eventually you’ll see Jackson/Sharpton et al stuck by Obama’s side like “white on rice”. Self appointed black leaders are nothing if not opportunists.
