“It’s starting to look as if Obama is in it for real. I think, at this point, his support is coming from liberal whites sick of the Clintons and everyday black people - not leaders. If he continues to ascend, eventually you’ll see Jackson/Sharpton et al stuck by Obama’s side like “white on rice”. Self appointed black leaders are nothing if not opportunists.”

When Hillary is ready for the final coup de grace to Obama’s campaign - she will order Jackson and Sharpton to do just that.

A Hillary/Obama ticket? Uh...the Democrats wouldn’t even take Hawaii.

What a combo - an empty suit following an old worn-out suit. This country is sufficiently neurotic to put them into the White House.

Do not underestimate the threat to the nation Obama poses. He is probably a more formidable general election candidate than Hillary - he's further left than she is and does not have her negatives.

He is dangerous, I agree. But Hillary, with the clinton operatives all over the government, might be more dangerous. If they don't support him, he might be so governmentally inept, that nothing could be done. That might be better than the H and all her connections.

I hope and pray it doesn't come to that, but it's something I think about.

Obama 30%, Clinton 29%.

There is the Dem '08 ticket- Hillary for President and Obama as the VP.

I agree that Hillary in power might be more dangerous than Obama in power; however, I think the likelihood of Obama winning the election would be subtantially greater than Hillary winning the election.

Between them, Obama and Hillary are the greatest threat to the nation since Robert Kennedy in 1968.

Mr. Barack Obama Hussein might want to hire some food tasters.

If he pulls too far ahead of the beast, he won't survive long enough to make it to the primaries. Arkansacide is a horrible thing.

"She will win the nomination, but may take Obama on as VP"

Obama will be her running mate. Bank on it. It covers all of the bases including the fringe left that Hillary needs but can't completely commit to. It will be a very tough ticket for the GOP to beat. Any criticisms or even questions will be impossible because it will be labelled as racism or "picking on a woman".

As I’ve said before I think the only contest remaning is whether Thompson or Clinton will name a black running mate first.

My elderly dem MIL LOVES Obama. She thinks he will win. She is swooning over him. (she swoons for the sheer intellect of jimmy, too) I can only hope hillary can do some serious damage to him. He won’t be as easy to beat as skerry and the algore - they came close enough.
