LOS ANGELES — Paris Hilton was released from a Los Angeles County jail early Thursday after only serving a few days of her more than three-week sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. The 26-year-old hotel heiress checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in suburban Los Angeles just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday and was expected to serve 23 days. She was sent home early Thursday fitted with an ankle bracelet and must remain confined to her home for 40 days, according to sheriffs spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Bull

Let her serve her sentence. That’s like punishing me at the age of 16 while not taking away anything.

Sorry to say but John Edwards is right, there are two Americas. One for the rich and famous and one for rest of us. I can guarantee you that if that was you or me they would make room in a closet if necessary. Justice, what justice?

I guess she missed her makeup and such.

I am astonished that the press gives this woman so much attention.

I would suggest to any young woman who follows the various spills and chills of Miss Paris to do exactly the opposite of what the heiress does. That way, that young woman can lead a happy and rewarding life.

As for Paris herself? She is a cultural speed bump.

Authorities are saying her release was due to a “medical condition.” I’m thinking hang nail or a yeast problem.

No harm to anyone gets out, a real criminal goes in. She can pay her own rent anywhere without the taxpayers help.

California Judges and Sherriff’s are for sale. I wonder if they can make their price list more public? I’m sure a lot of others would happily pay.
