LOS ANGELES Paris Hilton was released from a Los Angeles County jail early Thursday after only serving a few days of her more than three-week sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. The 26-year-old hotel heiress checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in suburban Los Angeles just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday and was expected to serve 23 days. She was sent home early Thursday fitted with an ankle bracelet and must remain confined to her home for 40 days, according to sheriffs spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Money talks BS walks.
This could cause riots.
Bull
Let her serve her sentence. That’s like punishing me at the age of 16 while not taking away anything.
duplicate post (I know ... ABP is a bad thing but there is already a thread on it)
Party time at the Hilton house! Tell me there is no such thing as class difference.
Wonder when the first party goers will arrive.
I’m sure this would have happened if she was poor and a nobody....
How on earth does this happen?
Sorry to say but John Edwards is right, there are two Americas. One for the rich and famous and one for rest of us. I can guarantee you that if that was you or me they would make room in a closet if necessary. Justice, what justice?
Wrong. Just wrong.
Bet Scooter Libby has to serve every hour of that 30 months.
Who cares?
$$$$$
I guess she missed her makeup and such.
I am astonished that the press gives this woman so much attention.
I would suggest to any young woman who follows the various spills and chills of Miss Paris to do exactly the opposite of what the heiress does. That way, that young woman can lead a happy and rewarding life.
As for Paris herself? She is a cultural speed bump.
Authorities are saying her release was due to a “medical condition.” I’m thinking hang nail or a yeast problem.
Nervous breakdown?
No harm to anyone gets out, a real criminal goes in. She can pay her own rent anywhere without the taxpayers help.
I wonder what Martha Stewart will say about this?
California Judges and Sherriff’s are for sale. I wonder if they can make their price list more public? I’m sure a lot of others would happily pay.
Or picked up the staph infection that was reported throughout the jail.
