Psalm 121: :5-7

The Lord is thy keeper;
the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil;
He shall preserve thy soul.

Holy Father,

You are the strength of Your people---a fortress of salvation for those who trust in You. We look to You with eyes of hope, full of faith, knowing that when we wait for You, You will not forsake us. You have not forgotten the prayers of Your children. You are our God of grace, of glory, and of faithfulness. Though our hearts may be full of fear and anxious thoughts, yet we find our peace in You. Grant us that peace today, Lord, as we pause to think about You and Your love, Your tender mercies, and Your unending omnipotence.

Father, we ask that you would help our President to realize even greater understanding of who he is in Christ Jesus. You have given him the authority to use the Name of Jesus in his prayers, standing upon the Word of truth that cannot be denied. Help him to know that he is more than a conqueror through You who love him; and neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons, nor the present nor the future, nor any powers; neither height nor depth, nor ANYTHING else in all creation will be able to separate him from Your powerful love that is in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Father, grant him high energy, a sense of purpose, and the desire to do all for Your glory during his tenure in office.

God of grace, we ask for a stirring of reivival in this nation that will escalate our desire to please You and to do good works in Your Name. We are here for Your pleasure---not our own. We pray that You would strengthen and invigorate each of our military men and women with a growing, and vital love for You, and help them to know that they cannot be separated from that love, no matter where they are on the face of this earth. Help them to know that there are many groups across the nation, praying for them regularly. Set our hearts on fire with the passion of the Holy Spirit so that each prayer may be added to another, and another, until our nation is on its knees crying out to You, O Save us, Great God, from all that denies You. Grant us as a nation, a strong commitment to the final prize of victory----that which provides FREEDOM, LIBERTY, and JUSTICE for all. Lord, may all people from every nation have the opportunity to know You.

Father, we ask that the mothers and fathers, the grandparents, aunts, and uncles of this nation would be reminded to teach the children of Your love. We cannot allow the devil victory over the next generation, Lord, for we are all responsible for sharing the good news of the Gospel. Grant us a new sense of purpose---to reach the lost and to share Your love with those around us. Make us instruments of Your peace, Almighty God, and may Your blessings continue to shower upon this nation. In the Name of our Most Beloved and Precious Savior, Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray all these things. Amen.

AMEN FAITH AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!

Psalms 126:1
A Song of Ascents. When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream.

Psalms 126:2
Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”

Psalms 126:3
The LORD has done great things for us, And we are glad.

Psalms 126:4
Bring back our captivity, O LORD, As the streams in the South.

Psalms 126:5
Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.

Psalms 126:6
He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.
(NKJV)

“The Lord hath done great things for us, whereof we are glad.”
- Psalm 126:3

Some Christians are sadly prone to look on the dark side of everything,
and to dwell more upon what they have gone through than upon what God has
done for them. Ask for their impression of the Christian life, and they
will describe their continual conflicts, their deep afflictions, their sad
adversities, and the sinfulness of their hearts, yet with scarcely any
allusion to the mercy and help which God has vouchsafed them. But a
Christian whose soul is in a healthy state, will come forward joyously,
and say, “I will speak, not about myself, but to the honour of my God. He
hath brought me up out of an horrible pit, and out of the miry clay, and
set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings: and he hath put a new
song in my mouth, even praise unto our God. The Lord hath done great
things for me, whereof I am glad.” Such an abstract of experience as this
is the very best that any child of God can present. It is true that we
endure trials, but it is just as true that we are delivered out of them.
It is true that we have our corruptions, and mournfully do we know this,
but it is quite as true that we have an all-sufficient Saviour, who
overcomes these corruptions, and delivers us from their dominion. In
looking back, it would be wrong to deny that we have been in the Slough of
Despond, and have crept along the Valley of Humiliation, but it would be
equally wicked to forget that we have been through them safely and
profitably; we have not remained in them, thanks to our Almighty Helper
and Leader, who has brought us “out into a wealthy place.
“ The deeper our troubles, the louder our thanks to God, who has led us
through all, and preserved us until now.
Our griefs cannot mar the melody of our praise, we reckon them to be the
bass part of our life’s song, “He hath done great things for us, whereof
we are glad.
