As my high school sweetheart has taken to saying:
“It is well past time for the shooting to start.”

There’s a simpler solution. Punish the employers of illegals.

When the news shows images of "families being torn apart", the moderates will NOT be happy.
I think too many of us on the right suffer from tunnel visions and are used to an echo chamber. Remember that the masses are easily manipulated emotionally by what they see on television. This is how Edward R. Murrow got the bracero program killed (via his "Harvest of Sorrow" reports) which was a good deal better than we have today.

he had a 20 year marriage annulled ,bastardising his kids, One small correction here sarge. The Catholic Church does NOT bastardize children born in an annulled marriage. The children are considered legitimate. But you are free to put your own label on them.

If one reads Steinbeck's book
Grapes of Wrath there is a lot of truth behind that fictional work. FDR had ordered the expulsion of millions of illegals to make jobs available for US citizens. Most of those jobs were in the fields of California, which put families like the Joad's onto the road.
Where I grew up, these folks often referred to themselves as "Dust Bowl Okies" with pride. They were some of the finest people you could ever want to meet.
Frequently, they were small businessmen or farm owners who had gotten clobbered by a hard combination called the Depression and Mother Nature threw another curve called a drought.
God Bless Them All.
