I dunno, I've never bought a new car.

I consider brand new cars a colossal waste of my hard earned money for no other purpose than impressing a bunch of people that aren't worth caring about. Just driving a new car off a dealer's lot depreciates it like crazy.

LOL, I even trained an old girlfriend to scoff and say "little dick" every time she saw some moron burning rubber in his hot new car.

I've got a God given talent for fixing all thing mechanical (and many things which aren't), so I've never even shopped for a new car, always paid cash for my various vehicles.

Hospital costs are another thing however.

Outrageous amounts of money. In my case, even with insurance, paying off 4 operations and 30 days in hospital after a series motorcylce accident took me a while. And the collection agencies were pretty vicious too.

That's just the beginning. Romneycare will mandate that everyone have health insurance. If I remember correctly, the fine will eventually go up to $10,000. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, Mitt Romney is a conservative. And I'm George Costanza.

$219.... $10,000.... whatever.... What do any of these tax credits, exemptions, and/or fines matter to the parasites who don’t have two nickels to rub together (the Democrat “base”) and depend on society’s producers to feed, clothe and house them in the first place?

The taxpayers are still paying for their health care (just like always) but now the state gets to “control” it, meaning, of course, that the cost to taxpayers will proceed to go through the roof just like with everything else the scumbag politicians get their filthy paws on.

Good job, Mitt.

Dear Massachusetts Taxpayer, Beginning July 1, 2007, a new Massachusetts law says that residents age 18 and over must have health insurance.

B-b-but, what about the children???

Child support orders already have medical support enforcement orders - nationally, not just in my state, so the only chidren without at this point would be those with parents that haven’t split. Health & Human Services Department, Office of Child Support Enforcement, and all their state and county/local counterparts are already congratulating themselves and feeling reaaalllly secure in their jobs these days.

All this deal did...was help convince some folks to move out of the state sooner than they normally would have. Lets face facts...the population has been on the slight decline for 20 years and they expect to lose another representative in 2010 when the census occurs. Most of the locals there even talk of another representative going by 2020. Between real estate costs, mandated healthcare, and state taxes in general...there isn’t a big reason to keep a growing business in the state.
