I can’t wait to see how he does on a real debate. I wonder if he will show up. He may feel that he does not need to and just keep doing You Tube things.
I cant wait to see how he does on a real debate.
All the candidiates are in that position
Works for me. I loved that Michael Moore thing. I look forward to seeing him trash obnoxious members of the White House press corps exactly the same way.

I’d rather see him campaign until near the end of the year, then before the primaries, invite his top competitors (probably just Mitt) to join him in a TV studio, to discuss the issues. Permit the news networks and C-Span to pick up the feed, and post it on You Tube.
If there is another contender, then Fred should do a separate event with him.
If any of the other candidates want to debate each other, they should do the same.
If anyone wants to decline an invitation, so be it.
Any Republican with the guts to pass on the Wolf Blitzer dog-and-pony shows rises a notch in my book. It takes leadership to depart from the lemming mentality. It takes fire in the belly.
After all, if you can debate you will make an excellent President...right?
If he does show up, I think he'll do well. He's fast on his feet, and fairly gaffe-free.
Thompson thinks he’s above the fray. Why should he bother when he has all these people absolutely crazy, and I do mean crazy, about him?
What do debates prove? Has anyone actually been influenced to change their vote because of a debate?
The way Fred has been doing it (blurbs on the internet) is going to be the way of the future. Connecting with the people on their level. That is what Fred is doing now and he is doing it masterfully. All the other candidates are pissing their campaign contributions away. Fred hasn't spent a dime in campaign contributions and he is ready to take the lead in this race.
He needs to stay out of the fray until the last possible moment -- after all the other candidates have run out of money and embarrassed themselves in these worthless debates.
Wait Fred, Wait!
I am sure he would if we ever have any “real” debates. As for the media circuses that are mascarading as debates, he is wise to skip these charades.
Maybe he thinks it would be a waste of his time. The debates so far have been nothing more than a conglomerate of boring, 10 second sound bites. You have a gazillion people on stage, each one trying to get their 15 seconds of fame.
The “debates” have been “jokes”. I’m waiting for the field to narrow and see some debates with substance not Brit Hume and Chrissy “The Sissy” Matthews and their stupid, irrelevant questions. Do you realize out of the debates thus far not one minute has been spent discussing Education (or the lack thereof) in the U.S.?
Nowhere in our Founding Documents does it outline how candidates should run for president. If we want a leader who can shake up Washington, we shouldn’t be surprised if he shakes up the way campaigns are typically run, too.
