I would assume Leahy just crawls under a rock or into a rat hole when he wants some privacy.

I can only guess what Bill Clinton had in his Hideaway...A hide-a-bed, condoms, cigars.....

Appallingly, his "hideaway" was the Oval Office.

these people are certainly going to need some hiding places. Don’t worry— we’ll find you!

Why the devil are we paying for hideaways? They don’t need them. Tell them to go to their offices. If it’s good enough for us; it should be good enough for them.

In my opinion these guys need more stress in their lives; like real Americans. We aren’t paying them to coddle themselves. Oh, wait, I forgot; they are special.

“Cockroaches need hiding places.”

Good response. I heard about the 3% rating of these Cockroaches. Now’s the time to find better people to elect.

You forgot draw and quarter. I hope it was an oversight.

You forgot draw and quarter

I'd save that for anyone talking about running for a second term.

But perhaps you're right. Maybe we should use your suggestion and save breaking on the wheel for anyone cheeky enough to talk about staying in the Senate.

The “dict” taker would need a bucket alright . . . to puke into.

“...our country could draft its leaders randomly out of the population and come up with less corrupt and smarter leaders than the goobers we now have infesting the system from top to bottom.”

You said it, brother!

Wow, unbelievable. I’m sure that a fair number of them have mistresses meet them in the hideaways. I’m curious who are the Senators? (Other than Ted Kennedy, that is common knowledge)

I know a dark secluded place
A place where no one knows your face
A glass of wine, a fast embrace
It's called......Ted's D.C. Hideaway.....Ole !

All you see are silhouettes
And all you smell are cigarettes
And no one cares how late it gets
Not at Ted's D.C. Hideaway.....Ole !

At the Golden Fingerbowl or any place you go
You can meet your Uncle Max and everyone you know
But if it's a Waitress Sandwich you are thinking of
You will be free.....like Kenned-y
To feel the love

Just knock three times and whisper low
That you and I were sent by Joe
Then strike a match and you will know
You're in Ted's D.C. Hideway.....Ole !

( ooohh yeah!
move over here a little closer
mmmmmm
ahhhhhh.....
OLE ! )

He would check the "escape rooms" before lunch to make sure they were stocked with wine and cocktail glasses, ice, fresh flowers and whatever else he thought senators wanted or needed.

Hernando was a sucker. Real scoundrels let the taxpayers pay. OLE!
