I wish someone would investigate how often this occurs during normal circumstances.

assert that witnesses have testified
The witnesses could tell the contents of a syringe at a glance but could not tell what the effects of a major hurricane bearing down on their coastal and below sea level city would be and react accordingly? I don't think I would pay much attention to any witness testimony in this case.

Troubling for sure but I’d like to know all of the circumstances, like how long after the hurricane hit did the alleged murders take place, what was the situation around the hospital at the time, what did the media make the staff think was the situation ... I can think of a few narrow cases where what happened could have been the best care possible.

These nurses should have no trouble finding employment as executioners ... they certainly can’t make any claims that their medical ethics would be compromised.

They shouldn’t get “immunity.” They should get life without parole.

At most hospitals, the looting is usually done by the business office, not NOLA free lance looters.

I will not second guess what those people did under those circumstances. If I was dying and in horrible pain living in those hellish conditions, I would hope someone would have the compassion to shoot me up with something.
But -- there is not even a whole lot of evidence that is what happenned. The main "witness" is a publicity hound with a track record of being tossed out of hospitals. Foti, the state D.A., filed the charges as a payback to trial lawyres for funding his campaign.

Later, two doctors admitted that patients were euthanized, one doctor saying that he had fled the hospital rather than directly participate in killing patients. Good doc! BQ, remember all this insanity down there?

i want to know when murder became “euthanasia” in these hy’rer U S of A. We know when it happened in Germany, as it was properly recorded in their legal documents.

This was the topic on WWL radio tonight, and if the callers are any indication, a lot of people think this prosecution is a witch hunt.

Circumstances might mitigate the penalty but definitely not the crime.

A intentional death would not happen at the hospital I work at. We are part of the Catholic Health Partners. Excluding some lone freak like Dr. Jack
