Acting Prosecuting Attorney Dan Satterberg says his office "can't simply look the other way. They say you should let sleeping dogs lie, but you can't let voting dogs vote." The authorities in DC didn't seem to have any problem "looking the other way" for Sen. Webb's aide that tried to carry a handgun into the Capitol. All charges were "dropped." And any number of other cases for the politically priviledged class.

She should ask the judge to sentence her to 10 hours in county lock-up instead of the 10 hours community service, then, sell the story to NBC for $1 Million dollars.

She proved her point, but unlike the hundreds that have registered illegally and those who have voted illegally, she will be punished. Just a reminder for any of us who dare step out of place.
Just about all of King County's election workers should be thrown in jail for violating and breaking countless federal, state and locals laws.
By the way I bet they kept the dog's registration and have already got a ballot ready for the next election in case they fall short.

Nah, that would only work if she was a twenty something year old blonde skinny skank with big ya ya's who had Hollywood connections and made a porno released on the net and went around saying things like, "registering my dog to vote is like so Hot!"

Her crime was embarrassing the corrupt election officials.

Too funny! Of course, the dog most likely knows the issues better than some humans!

No one’s asked the obvious question:
IS THIS A BLACK DOG?
If so this is a clear cut case of “voter intimidation”. Alert the NAACP!

Ironic they don’t go after some of those who filled out the “found ballots” from King County each recount, until Fraudaire won.

Don’t tell anybody, but I listed my dog as my son in the 2000 census. That was an interesting experiment. About six months later he started getting credit card offers in the mail. Name was exactly the same, even the fake middle initial. Wonder what that says?

Maybe so, but even in the 7th century that bloodthirsty, pedophilic abomination was 100 years behind the times.

She was just on the radio and she said she told several legislators, including Congressman Adam Smith what she had done and why. No one contacted her about her “experiment”. In other words, it just confirms what we all have thought here in Washington State ... no one cares how screwed up our election process is here. In fact, I guess that’s the way they like it.

Keep your dogs at home. Find a whole bunch of wild dogs and make them real mad and release those dogs on the border at night. Get them from dogcatchers, kennels, etc. Put a coyote in there to run the show and make him real mad too. Kick them out of a U-Haul at sunset on your favorite spot. You need thick trainer gear for this and a small whip.
That's the military way to scare an enemy to hell.

Agreed, Mens rea has two components, intent and knowledge, and only one needs to be established to determine culpability.
Sometimes negligence and reckless disregard can be considered in extreme egregious cases.

Meanwhile democrats throughout the USA firm up their plans to canvass cemeteries to get the residents to register to vote and to vote.
