A discussion thread about Fred vs Duncan
Hopefully, they have no impact on anyone regarding their opinion of individuals.
But they better influence your political strategy or you will be in for a big shock when the final numbers are tallied.
If Hunter were “in the race” in the numbers, your ignoring the polls would make some sense, up to a point.
But he has never been “in the race” according to voter polling data anywhere. Last I saw, he was a long way from carrying his own state, and not even on the radar in any other state. It’s tough to win a national election like that.
Now to ignore that takes no sense, but blind faith.
I have blind faith in my Lord... But in no politician.
I still can’t get past 28 years in congress and nobody in the country ever heard of him until two months ago???

There is only 11 miles of a single fence built, and it’s supposed to be an 854 mile DOUBLE fence!
Hunter said that, as president, he will have the fence built in six months, and he WILL!!!!

Tell that to Israel who can’t understand why anyone in this country would be against fences, because fencing has SAVED LIVES in Israel.
We’ve had guns at our house for years, and dogs, but two men came to our back door at night with flashlights right up on the porch. Thankfully the dogs scared them away, but they were too close for comfort.
We built a fence around the house, and nobody has been on our back porch since.

Bill Clinton was 2% in the polls in October of ‘91, so by your logic, if Hunter has 2% by October of ‘91, he will be POTUS.

1) STRONGLY pro-life - a 26 year pro-life history NO FLIP FLOP HERE;
2) wrote the bill that was SIGNED INTO LAW for an 854 mile fence;
3) knows his defense: AMONG OTHER THINGS was Chairman of the Armed Services Committee when the Republicans had the majority, fought hard for the missle defense shield, and personally, won a medal in Viet Nam & his son did two tours in Iraq, including Fallujah, and will do a 3rd tour in Afghanistan (so he has a lot a stake);
4) understands the Red China threat and China’s trade imbalance through cheating;
5) voted for traditional marriage between a man and a woman through HJ Res 88
6) A+ rating from the National Rifle Association;
7) 100% rating from the Eagle Forum.
(8) 92% rating from the American Conservative Union;
(9)100% from the Concerned Women for America;
(10) 100% from the Christian Coalition;
(11) 100% from the Campaign for Working Families.
No fence for me... For over 200 years, no fence was needed. Only when politicians decided to stop enforcing laws did the subject of a fence come up. You and I can cross that fence, no matter how they build it.
The fence will not fix Washington’s support for illegal migration.
The fence is not being built to keep people out. It’s being built to shut people up. It’s a demonstration of how they want to stop illegal immigration. But if they really want to stop it, stand our troops on the border, allow border patrol to do their jobs, instead of jailing them for trying to do their job.
You want a fence because you think a fence is the only answer. But the fence is no answer at all. Hunter is wrong on this issue. It’s akin to Tommy Thompson saying everyone should have a ID chip to catch criminals, or nobody should have guns so that criminals won’t have guns. It’s the same insanity.
You can have your fence. I don’t want it. I want our laws taken seriously in Washington and in Mexico. Until the price of ignoring our laws is too high, for both politicians and illegal invaders.
You are on your way to turning America into Islael. Israel has built fences for decades and their people are still blown up on a regular basis.
The fence is NONSENSE...
One without the other won't work as effectively. We need both.

Many lives have been saved in Israel because of their fence.

Yeah, then Bush Sr. broke his promise and raised taxes. Then Ross Perot took 19% of the vote at election time and Bill Clinton became President with a popular minority.
Most Americans voted AGAINST Bill Clinton. But Ross Perot got him elected anyway.
