Mexico's emigrants last year sent nearly $25 billion home to family members. That money has become an important anchor in many rural communities and poor metropolitan neighborhoods. That is why Mexico opposes the fence.

The “door to illegal immigration” was already wide open. Now that we’ve been able to prevent Kennedy and Bush from taking it off the hinges, maybe we can push it shut.
Screw Mexico and its President. Would they let you in? Not hardly. Let’s have the same immigration laws that they have. Hypocrites

I wonder why there is no outcry for Mexico to step up and take care of its own? They have created the problem. It ain’t our job to solve it for them.

Geez, a tenth of Mexico's population lives in the US....? Sobering.

The president of Mexico has made a “grave error” in dumping his problems on the U.S. We ought to show the SOB the might of our military at the border as we repel, with force, the invaders he encourages to trespass.

Somehow we need to get the Mexican laws on immigration published widely to stop this sort of foolishness.
In fact, their laws are so strict, we could copy their laws and be very secure with our immigration policy.

"Secondly, because to close the door on legal immigration, the only thing the Senate does is open the door to illegal immigration" the Mexican president said, How was the door closed on legal immigration?
The Mexican President and Bush are equal in their disingenuousness.

...to close the door on legal immigration, the only thing the Senate does is open the door to illegal immigration" the Mexican president said.... That sounds very much like a threat, but El Presidente Jorge Bush and the rest of those crooked politicians will use it as an excuse to surrender at the first opportunity.
