If anyone wants to know why Muslims the world over tell pollsters the United States is at war with Islam, just read President Bush's speech at the Islamic Center of Washington, especially the part about American-style religious freedom -- in the president's words, "what we wish for the world."
----snip----
As one who has attended a bar mitzvah at that synagogue down the road, I have news for the president: Freedom, American-style, has changed. To enter, I passed an armed guard holding an automatic weapon manning the door.

And you are trying to make... what logical argument?

The hysterical shall reign— for a moment.

They fly by you, too?

That’s soooo sick. I thought that kind only lived by where I lived (in the desert of CA).....never heard of that kind before (or saw any before or since I lived there). Disgusting creatures!

I don’t know whats sadder, the comments they make or the effort you make to help them to see reason.

I don’t know what is sadder. Liberals who all out hate the country, or pretend-Republicans who worship false prophets and would freely turn over the country to an invading force.

Take a deep breath. Please.

As it would happen I know a great deal about Islam. I’m keenly aware of the threat it poses to civilization. I also know what it would mean to suddenly declare war on 1.5 billion of them at once.

Dhimmis like you like to talk all tough to people who refuse to be dhimmis yet you whimper like little girls to your masters.
You have rejected only decency and logic, not my points of view. Yours is a truly dispicable post.

Oh, and dismissing me as a "Dhimmi" only further marginalizes your own lame self-loathing and demagogy (two sides of the same coin).

Dumb people who like to pretend that a God-fearing Christian such as the President would turn our country over to an invading force such as the Radical Muslims make me sad until I really think about it.

And then after I get over the initial shock of how stupid some of the posts are on this thread. I laugh.

a God-fearing Christian such as the President

Personally, I don't believe he can be. The Scripture says "by their fruits you shall know them." All I see is rotten fruit...not godly.

It always amazes me that people prefer to explain things by someone’s stupidity rather than evil intentions. Why can’t you assume that the man is actually very smart: he’s been buying Latin voted since he was a governor and fooled both of us for a long time, as only now we are discovering the mistake we’ve made. Whose stupidity is it?
