How many Emmys does he have?

2004: 40th Baeksang: Rookie Award
2003: Blue Dragon: Best Newcomer & Popular Star award
2002: KBS Drama: Popular Actor Award & Best Actor Award
2002: 38th Bak Sang: Popularity award
1997: 33rd Bak Sang: Popularity award
1996: KBS Drama: The Excellent Actor Award & The Popular Actor Award
1995: KBS Drama: Rookie Award & Photogenic Award

The Baeksang is the Korean equivalent of the Oscars. The Blue Dragon is anoother prestigious award. The others (like the KBS awards) are more equivalents to the Emmys.

Nomaden Motorcycle Club revs up for yearly toy parade http://www.svherald.com/articles/2007/07/03/news/doc46874a350c2fb255447339.txt

Published on Tuesday, July 03, 2007

SIERRA VISTA — The 19th annual Christmas in July Toy Parade and Event will get under way at 11 a.m. on July 14.

Sponsored by the Nomaden Motorcycle Club, the activity is all about taking donations and raising money for toys to be distributed at holiday time to needy children.

Those who would like to participate in the parade on motorcycles can sign-in starting at 9 a.m. at the corner of Fab Avenue and Veterans Drive. With a donation of one new, unopened toy ($5 minimum value) and $10 per person or $15 per couple on one bike, a High/Low Poker Ride is included.

The 11 a.m. parade will proceed east on Fry Boulevard to Veterans’ Memorial Park, with former Sierra Vista mayor Tom Hessler as special guest.

Beginning at noon, the public is invited to attend the continuing activities in the park that include a bike show with trophies, live music, food, beverages and other vendors. The only entrance to Christmas in July is located east of the band shell. Admission is $5, and free for children under 12 who are accompanied by an adult.

The Riders of Fire Motorcycle Club will host games and activities for children.

Toys are collected and purchased from the days proceeds which are wrapped and distributed personally by Nomanden Club members to deserving youngsters on the weekend before Christmas.

For more information about the July 14 parade and event, call 559-0071 or 458-3002, or visit http://www.nomadenmc.com.

So, here is what we are doing tomorrow. 5 briskets, 4 sides of St.Louis Pork Ribs, 5 pounds of Pork BAck, a few chickens.

Cook very slowly over pecan wood. Make sure it is pecan wood. Keep the fire away from the meat.

Mix, 1 quart of Apple cider vinegar, 2 cups extra-virgil Olive oil, 1 cup salt, 3 tbsp black pepper, 1 pint Worschester Sauce, and 2 tbsp of Ceyenne pepper.

All meat heavily sifted with salt, black pepper, and ceyenne pepper.

Get it on the pip early. The key to perfection in hog ribs is time. You cannot, CANNOT, hurry BBQ. You might just as well be hurrying Michaelangelo doing the statue of DAVID. Do not hurry.

Bast very frequently all meat. Modulate the baffle in the pit as necessary to keep the fire going, but do not allow flames.

This will take, if properly performed, at least 5 hours.

The best piece of meat is a tenderloin. It must be eaten, for maximum cullinary delight, immediately upon being taken from the pit. Everything waits for the Chateaubrian. The tenderloin weights about 8 pounds fresh, 6 pounds cooked. The tail of the tenderloin is the most highly prized. Do not tell others as they believe the larger end is more desirable, but those of us who have had the experience know that the tapered end is the ultimate piece of meat.

I could tell you more, but they are family secrets,....I would have to kill you if I told you.

My goodness, TS...that recipe is simply poetic. Which is not surprising coming from a poet!

It made me hungry and I just finished dinner. Yum!

Can I come to your house? :D

Yum! I like BBQ ribs — not too sweet, more on the savory side.

Happy 7/4!

Super large rock oysters. Wash all the sand and gunk off them. Place them right on the coals for a few minutes. When they open up, they’re done. Pull them out with tongs and shoot a mixture of clarified butter and lemon juice into the partially opened oysters. Serve with fries.

They NEVER show the best TZ episode ever. The one where a blowhard character played by Andy Devine is kidnapped by aliens (who, because of his tall tales believe that they are snatching a genius) and makes his escape by playing his harmonica.
