Miss New Jersey has received a second threatening package from someone trying to blackmail her into relinquishing her crown, her attorney says.Anthony Caruso, an attorney for Amy Polumbo, said that he was notified about the package Saturday and that it contained a threatening letter and possibly new photographs of the 22-year-old woman.
Caruso would not comment Sunday on the exact contents of the package or say who received it, but said he had given it to state investigators.

With no desire to legitimize or justify blackmail and extortion, it is disturbing how many people apparently have allowed themselves to be photographed and videotaped in compromising positions.
Keep in mind that these photos could be fake. She wouldn’t have to be in a compromising position to be blackmailed, but extortion would be a more accurate definition.
Well we don’t know what the pictures depicted so all of this is speculation at this point. All we know is that it is likely some stupid fool is going to go to jail over this.
Was this 2nd package mailed before or after she announced that she wasn’t going to cave in?
I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
My wife thinks they are probably before and after (cosmetic) surgery pictures.
With photoshop these days, almost anything is possible; it doesn’t really matter whether she did any compromising photography or not. I could see someone setting her up like this. However, if true, she certainly wouldn’t be the first one who ever did something stupid.

Ain’t it the truth!!! What are these people thinking? Studpity is its own punishment, as this poor girl is learning.
As for blackmail, it ought to be a death penalty offense. If I were on a jury, I would have a hard time convicting someone of murdering a blackmailer.

Just curious. If the photos are legit, how is this blackmail? He’s not asking for money or anything else. She doesn’t have to do what he requests, and he doesn’t have to keep the photos hidden. Really don’t see how this is blackmail. Suppose he never requested her to do anything, just published the photos? Would that be blackmail? Suppose he intended to publish the photos and she found out and requested him not to. Would that be blackmail? Suppose she suggested, “look, if you don’t publish the photos, I’ll give up my “crown.” Would that be blackmail? So, because he suggested it instead of her, it’s suddently blackmail?
Just asking.
