“Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”
Actually, this has more to do with unchecked violence by women against men. Women are allowed to punch, poke, pull and slap men and not get called on it because they are supposedly “the weaker sex” and don’t hit hard enough to injure anyone. And men are loathe to complain because they’ll just be ridiculed and laughed at. the men aren’t allowed to hit back either. They simply have to “take it like a man”.
Doubt me? Watch how many acts of violence women commit against men on television - just in the commercials alone.
The CBS Evening News could do a three-part investigative series on the subject but somehow I doubt it would ever make it past the Managing Editor.
I gotta admit I hate the word too.
But anybody remember when GWB put his hand on somebody’s back, I think that German woman prime minister, and the press went crazy.
Do I see anger management class in Katie’s future?
Lock the bitch up for assault!
It’ll boost ratings.
Don’t you dare say the s-word around Katie, or she’ll go off on you. Stick with the safe words, like colon and rectum.
Maybe they were at Batman's house.
If CBS was smart, they would find a Brit Hume clone (are there any?) and put on a real news person; not some liberal looney, but alas, CBS is not smart...so when Katie officially moves from the anchor chair to 60 minutes, which is bound to happen, expect another liberal man to take her chair.
Personally, I find "sputum" more offensive than "ho"......but then I usually read these articles (as I am now) when I'm eating dinner.
“And my teeth are getting whiter!”
whew...imagine being married to a leads with her chin type like Couric...ouch
make even a meterosexual misogynist
Maybe the docs left some equipment behind.
We know what is on her mind then.
As a person who’s actually worked with female TV anchors, I can say a few of them got angry with me.
The angry ones never hit me but a pregnant one let every four letter expletive out in my face.
There was an irony to my sin in that case. Using a pro-life soundbite alongside a pro-choice one.
For that I took abuse from a pregnant female anchor who spoke of herself as a “born-again Christian.” During her tirade she spoke of “sneaking Jesus” into stories.
I can believe that Couric would slap someone, but its hard to believe she was “playful.”
What would have happened if the male staffer had "playfully" slapped her?
That sounds like sexual harassment to me.
Maybe Katie needs some counseling.
Sweet maiden of the spit, grant now my boon, that I might sup on suckling pig this noon.
