CINCINNATI -- A teenager could face murder charges after police said he beat and stomped his pregnant girlfriend, killing their unborn child.
Sources told News 5 that Alfonzo Price, 15, and a friend beat up Kerria Anderson, 18, early Thursday as she pushed her 1-year-old daughter in a stroller on the 1800 block of Race Street.
She said the guy that was with her hauled off and hit her in the face, said Betty Payne, the victims grandmother. While he hit her in the face, the other guy came in and jumped on her, too.
Payne said Price and his friend, whose identity has not been released, dragged Anderson behind a building near Findlay Market.
They beat her and stomped her all in the stomach, Payne said.
After the attack, Anderson carried her 1-year-old to the Justice Center, where a security guard called 911.
"She's five months pregnant, she has bruises everywhere, they just jumped her, like three guys had just jumped her," he told the 911 operator. "She knows one of them, it's her baby daddy. Well, the unborn child's father. And I guess it was over her not getting an abortion or something like that."
Anderson was hospitalized with bruises and other injuries, and authorities said the baby she was due to deliver at the end of the summer did not survive the beating.
Family members said Anderson told police the beating was an attempt by Price to kill his unborn child.
Payne said this wasn't the first time Price had beaten her granddaughter.
"He jumped on her before and they tried to get her to get a warrant on him, but at the time I guess she was scared and didn't do it," Payne said.
Police have not said whether the teen, who remains at large, would face felonious assault or murder charges in the attack.

I guess the girl doesn’t have a dad or a granddad or even a big brother in the picture to deal with the punk sperm-donor loser of a boyfriend she had. I just hope she’s smart enough that she won’t go back to the punk.
What a brave, strong young man. If he’s man enough to father these children, he should be man enough to support them and be a father for life in the biblical ruling the house manner. Instead he gets another pal to stomp the mother into the hospital and the unborn to death. A good stomping by a couple of heavyweights would be a fit punishment for him.
Says it all, doesn't it?
I gots bitches and I gots hoes. I gots 100 dolla kicks and fresh baggy clothes. I don't go to school, cause that's for suckas. Uncle Toms tryin'to be white muthaf***as. I keep it REAL, That's how I be playin'. I knock you up, you get rid of it, no delayin'. But if you don't, I'm not payin! Jewels in da crown, bitch, Knowwhutimsayin'? I'll stomp your ass, and leave you layin' Cause I be a MAN!!!
I had to put every word you sad into urban dictonary.
How can they charge him with murder for killing an unborn fetus? Doesn't the government say that it's just a fetus until it's born?
Now, they're saying it's a baby? How come when a woman has an abortion, she's just aborting a fetus and the government says it's not really a baby? Could it be there's a little hypocrisy here?
Under the law, if the mother wants it, it’s a baby.
If she doesn’t want it, it’s a clump of cells, not any different from a tumor.
What the father or baby daddy wants is irrelevant.
Idiotic and evil law, to be sure.
"Idiotic and evil" also describes the young woman and young man in the story, to be sure.
More money for public education, breakfast programs, diversity training, affirmative action, public assistance...NOT.
“Idiotic” describes the young woman, for getting pregnant by such a guy.
“Evil” describes the young “men” involved.
If they charge the young man, I have a 15 year old at home, with murder, what are the legal ramifications for all other unborn child deaths after 5.5 months? Justice for all.
She’s 18, he’s 15. Technically she raped him.
Dream on.
