Come on, folks. What’s the point of posting this? He very obviously didn’t die in 2001. For cryin’ out loud, he made a video in which he talked about Bush and Kerry right before the 2004 election.
Perhaps a strange thought....but why can’t we get our CIA dudes and some Hollywood types...to make up a fake and bogus video of the death of Bin Laden...as authentic as possible...and ensure it falls straight into the hands of the dopey middle-eastern news agencies?
This would unsettle the Islamic world and Bin Laden would be forced to quickly put out some video...and maybe give away more evidence of his location.
A small knot of FR faithful have argued for years the OBL is dead. His silence was simply not in character given the history of the man in the Afghanistan war. Camcorders are a dime a dozen, but he nver used one to prove his existence. A Swiss accoustics firm reviewed an early Bin Laden tape and called it bogus.
Why then is OBL still alive. He is alive because it suits the CIA just fine to keep him alive. More money from Congress to track him down, etc., no matter how stupid the agency appears in being unable to find enemy #1. Unfortunately, no one has asked the CIA to account for Bin Laden’s four (at least) wives including the relative of a Taleban leader and the neice of Sudan leader Hasan al-Turabi. Nor have they been asked to explain the location of his numerous sons. It is quite likely the CIA does not know. As for someone’s question on Zawahiri, his wife and son were killed at Tora Bora (which he has openly admitted).
