Poll by Scott Rasmussen indicates ‘progressive’ viewed much more positively than ‘liberal’
During last Monday’s Democratic Presidential debate, Senator Hillary Clinton indicated that she preferred to be called “progressive” rather than “liberal.” The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that is probably a good move—Americans are more receptive to the term progressive.
Just 20% said they consider it a positive description to call a candidate politically liberal while 39% would view that description negatively. However, 35% would consider it a positive description to call a candidate politically progressive. Just 18% react negatively to that term. Those figures reflect a huge swing, from a net negative of nineteen points to a net positive of 17 points.
Hitler used the word “progressive” to describe his movement also.

Can’t find it now, but H3llary did say, at one point, “Bill and I have always been socialists.”
Right there she lets the cat out of the bag for anyone without their eyes glazed over and ears full of wax. She correctly states it "originally" meant classic liberal at the time of the founding.
Who perverted it's meaning? The left. When it became toxically associated with the left, they co-opted a new term. Progressive. Nothing about progress in their meaning unless you consider the steady onward march to totalitarian authority as being such. Call it whatever you want. It's truest identity is Marx.
These cretins even redefine what the meaning of “is” is. Anything to twist the word game in their favor. And the public sleeps on!
