“democratic socialist “

This is another distortion of words -

“socialism” is only “democratic” until those in charge see that the people won’t work hard enough to involuntarily support others without the use of totalitarian force.

In other words - socialism is only a vehicle/waypoint to totalitarian communism.

Until recently The Progressive Party had a web site that published the names of members of Congress who were affiliated with them. Of course, most of the Democrat delegation were named with their permission. Their mission statement cited the goal of bringing Socialism to America (more than it is presently). Question for Hillary. What is the difference between a Progressive and a Socialist?

HILLARY'S HARRUMPHING: IT'S ALL ABOUT RETREAT
NY POST LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

July 25, 2007 -- Kudos to Defense Undersecretary Eric Edelman for rebuking the lady who would be Commandress-in-Chief ("Pentagon: Hill is Helping Foe," July 20). By demanding an Iraq withdrawal plan, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is encouraging terrorists whose most fervent dream is to destroy the United States of America.

Patriotic Americans now know what her first option would always be in military matters: to retreat.

Who decided we were going to withdraw, except for the Democrat leadership?

Clinton exposed a weakness that she and the other gutless liberals have - a desire to bow down to our terrorist enemies.

Does anyone need any other reason to understand that she has absolutely no business running any office, except perhaps a U.S. al Qaeda branch?

What an embarrassment Clinton is to anyone who is selflessly serving in our nation's military.

As is the usual protocol for Republican pundits, Edelman partakes in "doublespeak."

His diatribe begins with false claims of how discussion of a subject, which is paramount to Clinton's job in the Senate and which entails pragmatic planning, will reinforce enemy propaganda.

What propaganda? If Edelman truly believed that America was correct in its invasion and occupation of Iraq, then he would proudly state that America is planning to leave five years or more from now.

Hillary lacks ethics.

Eroding national will to prevail and aiding and abetting the enemy to satisfy her lust for power is a despicable act of treason.

Clinton is blinded by power and will lead us to destruction if nominated and elected as president of this troubled nation.

“Progressive” has ALWAYS been what communists have called themselves. Ever since the ‘30s, when the American Communist Party started, they used the term “Progressive”.

Exactly. Henry Wallace ran for President in 1948 as a Progressive Party candidate with the endorsement of the Communist Party of America. While some say Wallace wasn't a Communist, his campaign organization was riddled with Communists including Paul Robeson. The term "progressive" has long been a synonym for "communist." A main plank in its platform called for universal health insurance. Ring a bell? Enough time has passed that the current generation thinks the word has reverted to its original meaning of "forward-thinking." Not true.

If any of you have auto insurance with Progressive Insurance you are patronizing a company founded by a Communist. Its present owner funds "progressive" causes in amounts about equal to George Soros.
