What Savage? Never heard of her.

Prager, Medved, AND Savage continually discuss issues from their religious perspectives, Levin doesn't, I personally have yet to dislike what I hear from conservative Jews but despite being Jews they don't seem to play to a particular crowd other altho religious people might find them, save for Levin, more amenable to their tastes than your normal talk show host, because religion is often times part of their shows.

As for Golda Frickin Meir, I wasn't aware she had a nationally syndicated talk show, dang I must've missed it.

I listened to Savage when he first started on KSFO.

He was much more entertaining then before he went national and tried to beat Rush with his childish insults and name calling.

but second hand stories are hardly credible.

That part which I referred to, which I did not relate here, is a very minor point in the overall picture. Savage is an act, pure and simple.

He is poking fun of Conservatives and laughing all the way to the bank. Sorry that you are still buying the act.

frankly I thought he (Hannity) talked about it too much.

He has a habit of that, focusing in on one issue and running it into the gound. The Aruba case being another example.

Mike supported Rush when he got into that ‘pill’ trouble in 2003.

Then Mike was taken off the ABC stations, and around 2004 he started to poke fun at those who remained on ABC like Rush, Sean....

Sorry that you are still buying the act.

I don't 'buy' anything from anybody.

I like his show, overall, period.

You never know what to expect from Savage: one minute you’re shaking your head in agreement, saying, “right on, right on”; then suddenly he hits you with a right cross, and you’re asking, “where the hell did that come from”.

“overall, period.”
Shouldn’t that be “overall, period, end of story”? :)

As far as being a so-called ‘lib-Dem’: you’re crazy.

I know you directed that comment at iowahawk and it is one aspect of his comment that I am not convinced of. But Weiner did spend a considerable part of his life in Academia (at Berkeley!) and amongst the North Beach regulars. He developed into a 'conservative' after about age 48.

Most people's political views are pretty well fixed by the time they are that age.

“never know what to expect from Savage”
Yup. When he gets going on his rants he is good and I also like the stories of his life he tells. Italian food, good stuff!

Yea but your posts about Savage only became more entertaining after he went national.

He’s been upfront about all of that on his show.

The fact that he ‘developed’ into a consrevative later than usual is not my business.

Mike supported Rush

So Rush should support Mike in hoping a gay man should die of AIDS?

That would ruin Rush which would make Mike happy.

"tried to beat Rush"

I never hear him talk about Rush, only about some guy named Hush and some kind of leprechaun.

The author of this piece is clueless. Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck, Rush, Mark Levin, Dennis Prager, and everybody else on conservative and libertarian talk shows talked about it incessantly.

>>>Anyway, the only voice on talk radio that is not a drone is Michael Savage. And he alone championed the case of the Duke Lacrosse players from the very beginning. <<<

I listen to Rush, Hannity, and Laura Ingraham almost every day, and they championed the case from beginning to end, and then some.

You need to get out more.

Mike even supported Rush when he made the McNabb comments.

He said it was silly, but he wished he hadn’t made them at all, so he couldn’t be attacked in the media.

Mike 2-Rush 0.
