I just tossed the original “Iron Lady” in there as a lighthearted example. I was trying to figure out why you would mention the Jewish angle. Us southerners are often accused of being anti-semitic and I bristled a bit at what I thought was that insinuation from you. I look past the religion to the nuts and bolts practical application of the philosophy and how it fits with My Country’s Constitution.. Judeo-Christian: Good. Islamist-libcults: Bad.

A lot of us smelled a rat in the Duke LAX incident on day one. Savage is an grandstanding ego maniac.
Savage isn’t a drone; in fact, he’s probably the most independent thinker in radio. When a guy is hated by both the Democrat AND Republican establishments, he’s probably worth listening to. If he’s bashed by anti-semites in internet forums, he might be worth listening to even more.
If you truly believe he is a liberal Democrat, you are sadly ignorant on this topic.
I can’t remember Savage per se. I don’t listen to his show. It is possible that he stood up for them in the beginning, but I can’t verify that either. All that being said, FREEPERS jumped on this PDQ with a lot of doubt and insight, and within a short time, the game was called. We were only waiting until the clock ran out.
Savage does more harm to the conservative movement than help. He preaches to the choir while chasing everyone else out the door. And the claim that he alone was arguing against the Duke travesty is nothing short of stupid.
BTW - he is laughing all the way to the bank, so I doubt he cares about my opinion any more than I care about his.
