Fred Thompson's handlers have tough [kook heckler] questioner ejected

On July 25, a Texas woman was forcibly removed by handlers of Fred Thompson — who is being groomed by Bush administration insiders to replace the president — for asking Thompson to explain his membership in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) during a question and answer session at Houston's Hobby Airport.

The woman pressed Thompson to justify the CFR's backing of the controversial North American Union plan set in motion by President Bush and the leaders of Mexico and Canada in March 2005. The CFR has been instrumental in laying the groundwork for the NAU and related initiatives such as the Security and Prosperity Partnership.

Thompson responded, "I didn't know they were up to that . . . . There's several conservatives over the years that have been members of the Council on Foreign Relations. I try to learn as much as I can from all viewpoints."

The woman asked no further questions and remained silent as she resumed video-recording the public interview. A few moments later — the video reveals — she can be heard to say, "Do not touch me," as someone apparently grabbed her arm and attempted to pull her back.

Three minutes later, she can be heard to say in surprise, "Do not touch me, sir. I've not done anything wrong." She then appears to be pulled from behind, and upon breaking free, turns toward Thompson and indignantly exclaims, "Sir, they're asking me to leave. You were a lobbyist for 18 years. You're not a real conservative, sir. What do you think about World Trade Center 7 — it was an inside job. What do you think about . . . ." At that moment, she says to someone, "Don't grab me! Why are you touching me?"

A man can be heard responding, "They want you to leave." The woman is then forced out of the building by police officers called in to assist, while she protests the aggressive behavior of those dragging her forcibly out. At least three times, she yells, "Get off of me," and then says, "Get your hands off of me," as she is escorted to the sidewalk.

All of this is posted at YouTube — and directly contradicts the misleading accounts reported by CNN and NBC.

Many of the disaffected Deaniacs are using Ron Paul’s campaign as a vehicle for their own anti-war agenda because they aren’t satisfied with the current crop of Dims (can we blame them ?)

I almost get the feeling that Ron Paul doesn’t fully understand where much of his support is truly coming from , or maybe he just doesn’t care anymore .

Ron Paul is a true Constitutionalist and I don’t think he would ever condone the behavior that these Leftist Kooks are engaging in .

But Fred Thompson didn’t protest.

He didn’t say,’leave this person alone, let her speak’.

He didn’t say “She has every right to be here questioning”

He didn’t say “ Don’t touch her. She is free to speak as she will.”

He didn’t defend her at all.

Would he defend your or my rights?

The woman ejected did not say that “9-11 was an inside job,” as you claim. You’re exaggerating the facts in order to dismiss the above incident altogether. The woman only said that World Trade Center 7 (the largely-undamaged structure that imploded several hours after the Twin Towers came down) was an “inside job”—a claim supported, at least to some extent, by credible evidence (enough to raise legitimate questions by intelligent observers, including structural engineers and scientists). That’s not the same as declaring that the collapse of the Twin Towers, themselves, was an inside job. She didn’t day that. Big difference.

The opinions posted at the message board of RenewAmerica are not “releases,” and do not necessarily represent the view of RenewAmerica or Alan Keyes. The board is for commentary by a wide variety of members. You’re exaggerating the “news” significance of the board.

You need to look at the video again. Without question, the woman began shouting only after she was already in the process of being forcibly removed—again, for doing nothing wrong in the first place (and no, her questioning was not “rude” as suggested by FreeReign in post #52).

In no way can she be accused of spontaneously disrupting the interview session. Her video—which runs nonstop throughout the whole incident—proves this.

The headline you cite (“Jihad Spence”), which you call evidence of “bias” by RenewAmerica, was not written by RenewAmerica staff, as you would realize if you clicked it on. Rather, the headline—and the article it links to—were written by an award-winning blogger who personally knows Abraham and has followed his career.

The article deserves an open-minded read. Thompson is not the conservative his groomers have created in myth form. He’s basically a fraud, and so is the “grassroots movement” to draft him.

Watch the video again. Moments after the woman has finished questioning Fred about his CFR connection and begins to focus her attention on video-recording his ongoing exchange with reporters, someone grabs her and tries to pull her. She tells them to stop. This person was obviously not a police officer, or she would have been gone in an instant.

Fully three minutes elapse—during which she does nothing disruptive, not even in the least—as police are brought in. Brought in by whom? And who was the first person who attempted to remove her?

Handlers of Fred, it’s reasonable to assume.

It’s clear that the woman was removed at the orders of Fred’s people, solely for asking him about his CFR status. The evidence overwhelmingly supports this assertion, and no one here has reasonably challenged that evidence or this assertion.

RenewAmerica stands by its claim that the so-called “Fred phenomenon” is being orchestrated by the Bush administration. The links offered in support of this claim constitute compelling evidence—and they are only a portion of the available evidence.

Anyone who is wary of the Bush elites who are behind the NAU, SPP, and NAFTA SuperHighway, as well as the failed Senate amnesty bill, needs to take a look at these links and decide for themselves.

“Little tidbit?” Not according to the evidence.

Oh cut the crap . She wanted to make a scene and she did .

The last thing she wanted was to get an answer from Thompson . Her goal was to ask the question and make sure he couldn’t answer , thus “reinforcing” the kooks’ belief that Fred is “sinister” and “evasive” .

Shoddy Agitprop at best ....

My goodness spike, relax!

As soon as he started answering her question, she tried to interrupt him, and he told her...very nicely...to stop “fussing with me, I’m answering your question.”

He spoke to her question, and then turned to another person for more dialog with someone else.

She then started her wacko building 7 etc etc tinfoil stuff and yelling. Apparently someone “touched” her to calm her down and stop her disruptiveness, then the police escorted her away. She wouldn’t leave so she had to be removed. No telling what a kook like that will do.

Why don’t you watch the video several times slowly, you will see what happened.

If you can handle it, watch some of her other videos.

But Fred Thompson didn’t protest.

Nothing to protest, he gave her her time.

He didn’t say,’leave this person alone, let her speak’.

No he didn't, she already asked her question.

He didn’t say “She has every right to be here questioning”

Well of course not spike. She already used that right and then was disruptive when Thompson tried to give someone else a chance to ask a question.

He didn’t say “ Don’t touch her. She is free to speak as she will.”

The police didn't seem to think she should dominate all of Mr. Thompson's time.

He didn’t defend her at all.

LOL that's the best one so far spike! The Police realized they had to defend Thompson from her! Kooks like that are dangerous.

Would he defend your or my rights?

Sorry not yours. But mine he will. You don't have any right to disrupt a civil Q and A session. You seem to think the woman had a right to do that. Sorry no.

Hay, are you the lady who did the video? Just wondering...

I mourn for you. I know,I know,we face some discouraging circumstances.

Please, try to get out of every day politics and look at what those wanting public trust actually say and do.

Further, don’t you think someone who is being considered for the highest office in our country should be able to face uncensored questions from the general public without physically strongarming the askers if the questions are uncomfortable?

But what if she is right....what if, we’ve been set up.

What if Fred has been chosen to pick up the globalist agenda that Clinton and Bush started???

I’ve sent repeated emails to friends-of-fred.com asking about his position on the SPP, the NAU and the TransTexas Corridor....with no response.

Fred is a proper gentleman, and the proper response to the obviously mentally ill is to ignore their babbling until they can be escorted from whatever forum they're babbling in. To call attention to them just encourages those assembled to notice their psychosis. It's like not calling attention to someone's fly being open.

I believe that the days of the conservative voice in America are numbered.

Care to explain that little item in your profile?

Hi,thanks for you reply. I love it when we can talk.

My contention is still that he didn’t stand up for her right to free speech. To question someone who is or might be seeking an office of public trust is central to our form of government.

He didn’t stand up for her right to question him as a possible candidate for the highest position in our government. Further,he didn’t protest when she was physically forced from the forum. It would have been easy for him to do,but he didn’t.

Our system is supposedly set up so that even dissenting opinions have the same validity as the majority. We have freedom of speech vowed to us in the first amendment. She had every right to question him and if he loves freedom,he should have protected her.
