Fred Thompson's handlers have tough [kook heckler] questioner ejected

On July 25, a Texas woman was forcibly removed by handlers of Fred Thompson — who is being groomed by Bush administration insiders to replace the president — for asking Thompson to explain his membership in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) during a question and answer session at Houston's Hobby Airport.

The woman pressed Thompson to justify the CFR's backing of the controversial North American Union plan set in motion by President Bush and the leaders of Mexico and Canada in March 2005. The CFR has been instrumental in laying the groundwork for the NAU and related initiatives such as the Security and Prosperity Partnership.

Thompson responded, "I didn't know they were up to that . . . . There's several conservatives over the years that have been members of the Council on Foreign Relations. I try to learn as much as I can from all viewpoints."

The woman asked no further questions and remained silent as she resumed video-recording the public interview. A few moments later — the video reveals — she can be heard to say, "Do not touch me," as someone apparently grabbed her arm and attempted to pull her back.

Three minutes later, she can be heard to say in surprise, "Do not touch me, sir. I've not done anything wrong." She then appears to be pulled from behind, and upon breaking free, turns toward Thompson and indignantly exclaims, "Sir, they're asking me to leave. You were a lobbyist for 18 years. You're not a real conservative, sir. What do you think about World Trade Center 7 — it was an inside job. What do you think about . . . ." At that moment, she says to someone, "Don't grab me! Why are you touching me?"

A man can be heard responding, "They want you to leave." The woman is then forced out of the building by police officers called in to assist, while she protests the aggressive behavior of those dragging her forcibly out. At least three times, she yells, "Get off of me," and then says, "Get your hands off of me," as she is escorted to the sidewalk.

All of this is posted at YouTube — and directly contradicts the misleading accounts reported by CNN and NBC.

Fred's conservatism should be in question. It would be idiotic not to always question every Republican candidate's conservatism.

Telling Republicans to cross their fingers and jump on a bandwagon might not go over real well after all the RINOism that has gone on in recent years. If we're gonna get fooled again, let's at least be able to say we tried real hard not to get fooled.

In the Political spectrum, the very fringe of Conservative Liberterianism abuts the Civil Liberterianism on the Left.

Sir Stephen Hawking could describe this strange dimmension, where Liberal and Conservative are apparently one. And at this junction we have the kooks that think that ANY republican out there is not a real conservative, and...AND that 9-11 was an inside job.

It's a strange universe

She was a Ron Paul plant.

You have no proof of this, just the usual smear.

Ronnie really ought to pull the plug on this nonsense since everyone knows his campaign is doing it. Kinda loses its effectiveness once the cat it out of the bag.

Paul has no control over his supporters.

Maybe when Spencer Abraham is referred to as “Jihad Spence” on RenewAmerica, people get the idea that it might be a wee bit biased.
It makes sense to me that the Bush people want to keep their jobs in government. However, if Karl Rove joins Fred’s campaign, I’ll stand corrected.

Interesting point. But I don’t think it’s a perfect circle, with left and right bending back on one another. It’s more like a fractal pretzel, with some weird right-branches merging with other weird left-branches.

The true hard left, the very extreme hard left, is very far from RP on almost all issues. A fact that makes RPs act of finding common cause with the commies almost too whacko to be believed.

Spike, you pompous little twit, as they say in the news business the tripe you write is "spiked"!

Since your probably uninformed on most things in life, "spiked" means your crap will not see the light of day. Back to Daily Kos boy.

Most of the 911 kooks I've seen think that even a commie rat like Hillary Clinton is TOO CONSERVATIVE. You seem to be asking me to believe something that is the exact opposite from what I've observed.

****UPDATE****Per NBC’s Clint Houston, on the ground in Hobby, TX....

In addition to Thompson’s vocal heckler, a second protestor was asked to leave the premises at this morning’s campaign stop in Hobby. Unlike his counterpart, the man went quietly out a back door at officials’ request. Neither protestor was arrested after being escorted off the property by police.

Here’s the kicker: The two were spotted leaving together in a car sporting a Ron Paul bumper sticker.

Well, I'm not implicating RP. He is someaht Libertarian, but not on "the finge of it"...but the kooks that dwell in that region of "the circle" I was talking about, ARE...If some of them support RP, and wanna act like a nut, then so be it. This woman is either one of them, or is a grassy knoll lib...either way, she's a kook.

I dunno what Ron Paul is...Definitely, that Mandatory Vaccination of school girls stunt he tried to pull was not a Libertarian move..Esp. when you find out it was money into his pocket from "Women in Govt Inc." lobby, as the motivation.

Sorry you feel that way.

I’ll tell you,I believe that people who might be in the running for positions of public trust, including the highest office of the Presidency, are subject to the questioning and scrutiny of those they purport to serve or want to serve. I say purport because it seems that often the general electorate is not served, but special interests are.

We are either a nation in which the government is of,by and for the people,or we are not.

We can either hold those those who wish to serve the public trust in governance to the highest level of scrutiny, which is in alignmenent with our founding documents, our highest laws, or we can indulge in petty politics.

I choose the former. So say good bye if you will,I have no hard feelings, but a thought that we lost a chance to be friends.

How did this person get so up close and personal ( with a camera yet! ) with Fred? Did she present her "911Truth" credentials at the door? If this woman can be portrayed as a "conservative", would it justify allowing less access for real conservatives to question Fred?
