Let’s see, who has come out in support of Vick on the heinous animal crimes so far?

Emmitt Smith

Deion Sanders

Michael Irvin

The NAACP

Let's not forget:

Jesse Jackson

Al Sharpton

Al Sharpton came out AGAINST Vick.

One of the good decisions he has made.

Problem is you’re still running under the core assumption that he’s guilty. What if he’s acquitted? Should he be a pariah then. Give it a rest. He’s not going to play this season, and if he’s convicted he’ll never play again. Why treat him like he’s been convicted NOW when the trial doesn’t even start until late November.

People who are ACCUSED of crimes, heinous or otherwise, shouldn’t be ASS-u-me-d guilty until it’s proven.

NAACP is judged by the characters in its content.

Deion Sanders needs to emulate BARRY Sanders.

Joey Harrington shows concern for his teammate, Michael Vick.

Wanna actually make a sentence out of that?

Looks to me like Joey has his priorities straight. In the list of proper things to worry about a “teammate” whom you probably never met (Joey hasn’t been a Falcon very long) is way down list far below flirt with pretty girl in plunging blouse.

I know all about Rae’s conviction, and since he was CONVICTED and currently Vick is merely INDICTED it has no bearing on the Vick situation. And if you think it does then I suggest you utilize the keyboard in front of you and your training in the English language and make some sentences and explain your position.

Or to use your method of expression “Billy Bob Thornton”.

But if enough of us do it, it will matter. Maybe that is why Lindsey L. latest film bombed.

Well, I seem to remember there was overwhelming evidence in those cases. Note that I said that Rush’s rule of thumb was that conviction via media is only PRIMA FACIE dubious.

That means that he allows for exceptions to said rule of thumb. However, sometimes what appears at first to be insurmountable evidence just isn’t; one thinks of the video America saw during the Rodney King case.

Either way, it seems to me that the comments of Sanders are well within the limits of reasonable discourse in this case.

I’d say blouse was “plunging” but it seems to have some fairly sturdy infrastructure propping it up.

I now where I’d like to go a plunging.

BTW has Joey said anything about his cousin Paddy winning The (British) Open?

ah ah ah ah, Portis did not make the list of enablers because he is, after all, and at the end of the day, a Clinton.

I know if I was sitting on that bleacher in his place I’d be all “what’s a ‘michael vick’, never heard of it”. I haven’t heard him say anything about Paddy, but I never seem to hear much from Joey, he apparently never says anything exciting in interviews. Which is exactly what they need in Atlanta right now, a QB that shows up, shuts up, does his job and doesn’t make anybody mad would be a nice change of pace.
