Hillary Clinton's SUPPRESSED Thesis finally on line in its entirety
gopublius.com ^ | May 2, 1969 | Hillary Clinton

A PDF copy of Hillary Rodham’s senior thesis at Wellesley arrived in our inbox this morning. it is titled:

“There is only one fight …” an analysis of the Alinsky Model

Although I have no ‘loving wife’ to thank for keeping the children away while I wrote, I do have many friends and teachers who have contributed to the process of thesis-writing.

We have not had a chance to review and will do so today. Regardless, we wanted to post this as soon as possible to share with everyone. Hillary is running for President and it is important to know what she really believes. This document was hidden from public view during her husband’s presidency -= an apparent favor to the Clintons fromt he President of the university - and interest in it fell when the Clintons left office. Now with Hillary a top Democratic candidate for President the importance of this document has frothed to the surface again....

One of the things that I have noticed about College Grads of my era, 68-72, it that their political mindset is frozen in time.

I was lucky in that I did three years as an 11B before I went to College but my brother, who graduated in 76, still spouts the Marxist line.

On the other hand, I could explain my intellectual journey away from there. The question I would ask of Hillary is “explain your intellectual journey away from this thesis. How has your thought process changed?”

If we got an answer that sounded honest, I could respect that. I still wouldn’t vote for her, but I would respect her for answering the questions

BINGO! Your post nailed it!

It would be hypocritical to take as gospel anything anyone wrote in college. But this should be a great starting point for any serious questioning on how her critical-thinking skills evolved from her senior year.

Won’t be reading it. I’ve seen enough of Senator Clinton to know what she thinks. Ugh.

Your question is brilliant and I had to quote and bolden it. We need to get this out there. Rush??

The question I would ask of Hillary is “explain your intellectual journey away from this thesis. How has your thought process changed?”

If she were to answer anything other than, "It Hasn't", then she would be lying.

I do not want to ever be held responsible today for what I said in college.

“Can they be silent forever?”

If they don’t want to be “silenced” forever, they will.

Some nuggets:

“the difference between a ‘liberal’ and a ‘radical’ is that a liberal refuses to fight for the goals he professes.”

“To induce conflict is a risk because there is no guarantee that it will remain controllable.”

“Only through social equality can men determine the structure of their own social arrangements.”

From the first chapter:

...Alinsky received a fellowship in criminology with a first assignment to get a look at crime from the inside of gangs. He attached himself to the Capone gang, attaining a perspective from which he viewed the gang as a huge quasi-public utility serving the people of Chicago.

Well that sure 'splains some stuff...

She can't speak without lying...

A lifelong Yankees fan... from the suburbs of Chicago?

Named after Edmund Hillary, but born five years before he climbed Everest?

A Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy which later had its allegations proven, and no apology ever ....

And on and on....

WOW! check out this quote....

Although there is great disagreement among writers about the definition of "radical" and among radicals themselves over the scope of the word's meaning, there is sufficient agreement to permit a general definition. A Radical is one who advocates sweeping changes in existing laws and methods of government. These proposed changes are aimed at the roots of political problems which in Marxian terms are the attitudes and behaviors of men. - page 10 of the thesis pdf file.

Hillary casually referred to the "Marxian terms" as a further explainer of the definition. I wonder how many more references to Marx are in this?

I haven’t looked at this document yet, but if anyone has, where do you see that her ideas have changed? Wasn’t her “socialized medicine” debacle proof that she’s right on schedule?

“To induce conflict is a risk because there is no guarantee that it will remain controllable.”

I haven't been able to get through ("server busy") but I'd like to know the context of this. I assume she was endorsing the practicing of inducing conflict despite this risk, since it was a risk that was necessary to achieiving the objective. Which is why we initiated military action in Iraq (which, to Hillary's credit, she voted in favor of, notwithstanding all the excuses and backtracking she's done since then).
