I think Hunter may do far better with young voters than anyone expects.

The more Fred DOESN'T commit the more I lean toward Duncan Hunter. I really like what he says.

If Fred Thompson is smart, he should offer Hunter the VP slot the microsecond after he wins the nomination.

Hunter impresses the hell out of me.

Hunter has been the only candidate willing to take China and identify it as a problem. His candidacy is responsible for it even being an issue.

If Fred was smart, when Duncan offers him the VP, he’ll take it!

Hey, Walter. No flowers, no marshmallows, and no soft music from Duncan Hunter. Just straight, bing, bang, boom - this is what he will do. I always say that Rep. Hunter says what he means, and by past performance, he does what he says! There is not a question in my mind but that Rep. Hunter is the man America needs today for the safety of America’s tomorrows. Thank you, Ros.

I guess then that the RP supporters are mirror images of the candidate.

I went to a Ron Paul event a week ago

The pharmacy has numerous over the counter medicines to induce vomiting in emergencies. Going to a Ron Paul event seems a somewhat tedious way of inducing barfing.

Hunter's speech was well done, but the number of Hunter supporters up front to watch it was significantly less than any of the candidates (except John Cox who really doesn't count.) I don't agree with Hunter on trade issues but like him otherwise. If, as so far appears likely, he doesn't win the nomination and the GOP manages to win without him then Hunter deserves Cabinet consideration.

The official results are currently being delayed by the Cindy SheehanRon Paul campaign. If you judged "his" campaign by the acts of his alleged supporters today and his foreign policy comments rather than by the boilerplate libertarianism of the domestic part of his speech Mother Sheehan would be proud of him. Their claims of voting machine problems and alleging fraud are straight out of the Rat nutroots handout and every bit as credible.

I heard Tancred came in third ... not bad at all.

Duncan has plenty of time also.

..a little matter of not pouring a couple of million dollars into Iowa

And not spending an enormous amount of time there either.

You have to pick your battles.

Fred Thompson doesn't have the work ethic to be president. Duncan Hunter does. While Fred is still holding on to his acting career, milking Law & Order reruns for all the publicity they are worth without declaring, Duncan Hunter has been working his tail off for over six months now and has already announced he will not be seeking re-election to his safe congressional seat.

Fred Thompson might win the nomination, but he won't win the presidency unless he works like Duncan Hunter.

It actually wasn't that bad until he started to rant...sigh.

Seemed like a nice group of wonderfully activist, misguided folk.

I think Ron Paul came across as angry in his speech today. Many of his supporters seem to feed off that anger.

Hedaman!

He does need a decent campaign organization.

I don’t know what is up with that. When little old me (no one) has to call his campaign manager and tell him that Levin is trying to get him on his show and why aren’t they returning the man’s calls, how SAD is that?

Seems that he could be doing better, in the right hands. Seems that Karl Rove should be available soon. I can dream can’t I?

The Rockefeller Pubbies don’t want a Reagan Conservative.
